We don't ship spareparts if the Installation is complicated and will lead to more defectives. But we could have given you free service. You know, we actually even considered to use you for our beta testing program and send you a free direct drive wheel. It seems that you drive a lot and already have compatible steering wheels. And hey, if this would make you happy than this would be a win-win situation. Unfortunately you started to become impertinent and also threatened our staff. This is where we put you off the list. We are not willing to help people which are treating us nasty and arrogant. People who are nice or at least objective to us get the best service. This is how we do business and you can see a lot of happy customers confirm that this is a good way. If you read this thread carefully then you will notice that the vast majority is against you and your actions and undisputed lies.
The CSL Elite Racing Wheel - officially licensed for PS4 is available in our webshop from today and it is the first Fanatec racing wheel which is officially licensed by Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe (SIEE) for PlayStation 4. In the press release we will talk about the specs and features but most of you already know our products well so let me tell you some inside information. The Wheel Base The base looks obviously very similar to our CSL Elite Wheel base, but there are some significant differences. As this is an officially licensed product we added some electronics provided by Sony and this ensures that the racing wheel is properly recognized by the console The motor tor driver electronics are completely different to the CSL Elite Wheel Base and the same as on the ClubSport Wheel Base V2.5. The motor itseld and the power supply is also identical to the CS WB V2.5 but because of the diffferent gear ratio, this wheel base has less torque but more speed. The Steering Wheel The steering wheel of the CSL Elite Racing Wheel also looks familiar but we improved it significantly on several points over the existing CSL P1 Steering Wheel. It now comes with perforated genuine leather and suede fabric with blue stitching. The weight is now reduced to 970g which makes it the lightest steering wheel in our range. This increases acceleration and consumes less torque. The shifter paddles have been re-designed and now include Snaptron® snapdomes. They deliver a sensational positive and strong click feeling. The buttons are now interchangeable so you can use easy symbols to remember the mapping of your most important racing game functions. Please note that the steering wheel will not be sold separately for now. Compatibility By working really closely with SIEE on the development of the CSL Elite Racing Wheel we have been able to integrate features that we know racing fans on the PS4 will be able to appreciate, including: Fully supported within the PS4 console menu. Enables advanced functionality with select upcoming compatible games, including GT Sport. The CSL E RW is backwards compatible to all games which were compatible to the CS WB V2 with the help of a compatibility mode. It will work fine in the game but not in the system menu of the console. Assetto Corsa and Dirt 4 are the first fully compatible titels and many more will follow. This includes F1 2017, Project Cars II and of course GT Sport. Availability At the moment the CSL Elite Racing Wheel is only available in Europe and Australia but we are exploring the possibility of expanding the availability into further markets. The orders will be shipped right away. We will also have a special introduction bundle which will be attractive especially to new customers. For just 519,95 € you get a complete set with CSL Elite Pedals.
  4. Fanatec ClubSport Pedals V3

dal blog Fanatec It was time for a major re-design for one of our most popular products and the result are the new ClubSport Pedals V3. Our target was to make ultra high-end pedals with features nobody else can offer and with the most advanced technology on the market. At the same time we wanted to keep the price low and affordable. The completely new and custom designed 90 kg load cell and other improvements will also increase the durability a lot. No need to buy spare load cells anymore. All existing pre-orders of V2 in Europe and USA will be upgraded to V3 and the first products are already on the way to the warehouses. Full details will be revealed this week.
  5. Although it looks familiar to you it has almost no part which has not been modified or replaced to make it a better base. Our focus was durability, durability, durability and then performance. And while we made a radical re-design, we decided to make an offer nobody can refuse. The smoothness, vividness and precision of a Direct Drive wheel combined with a torque increase of about 75% and (optional) compatibility to the latest gaming consoles. And all that with a moderate price increase. Here are the details: 7 Ultra Precise We replaced the optical sensor with two magnetic high resolution hall sensors mounted on both the motor and the steering axis. The new sensors have double the resolution and the magnetic sensore are less vulnerable to dust or scratched code discs. 6 Smoothastic The cogging of this system cannot be felt by a human anymore. It is incredible smooth and feels natural and realistic. It is on par or better with the best and most expensive wheel out there although those wheels costs a multiple of the CSW B V2. Every little bump can be felt and effects which were filtered by the wheel mechanics can now be felt. Your racing simulations will feel different and new to you. 5 Rock Solid Our focus was to achieve high durability even for hardcore users. • Improved QR release with rubber o-ring and less tolerance in production • A brushless motor which can be cooled much easier as it gets hot on the outside and not on the inside so heat can be transfered better • New cooling system featuring an additional fan on the backside right behind the new huge heat sink • Integrated heat sensor inside the motor • Motor can now even be operated at 180 C° although the FOR overclocking would be de-activated already at 120 C° and FF would shut down at 130°C. The motor has plenty of power so most people will not use max settings anyway. And during betatests it never happened that a motor was shut down or the FF was cut due to overheating. • Ball bearings on the motor axis and bigger ball bearings inside the pulleys so we can increase the belt tension and avoid any belt slip. At the same time we have much less drag in the system. • Magnetic sensors instead of the optical so we avoid problems with dust and scratches • New main cable • New electronics • And many other small improvements to the overall build quality 4 Power. A lot. The new motor is custom designed and exclusive to Fanatec. Although the gear ratio has been changed to increase the rotation speed, it delivers about 75% more torque than the CSW B V1. This means over 7 NM of sheer power and this is enough to use even heavy rims with no disadvantages. The size of the power supply has also increased in order to feed the big motor. 3 Brushless Servo A brushless servo motor is currently state-of-the-art for force feedback systems and in principle this is exactly the same motor as the most expensive direct drive base units out there. • Smooth performance with no cogging (in combination with our Poly-V belt drive system or direct drive) • Easier to cool as the heat is on the outside of the motor and not on the motor shaft • Strong axis with ball bearings • Optimized for use in stall at max power • Fast acceleration • More efficiency -> more torque with same power We had to develop entire new electronics for that motor as the motor driver is quite complex. Now that it is done we can easily use it for smaller brushless motors or a direct drive wheel. 2 Next Generation The ClubSport Wheel Base V2 is the next generation of ourwheel base but there is also a strong demand of wheels for “Next-Gen” consoles. People were asking us to make their wheels compatible to the Xbox One and Playstation 4 but if we want to make it official and legal then we need to follow the rules of the console makers and they clearly do not allow that. So how can we make a product where there is a chance that the customer can keep at least most of the equipment he purchased? We can easily make the pedals, shifters and handbrake compatible and this is what we did but what about the base unit? And how can we make a product multi-platform compatible if we can only get approval for a license if the product has only the symbols of either one console on it? We came up with an idea which brings modularity to a whole new level and protects your investment. If you play on PC then just go ahead and purchase the wheel base as it is and you will not be bothered with symbols which might hurt your eye. But if you want to enjoy the painless simplicity of a console with its great exclusive racing simulations then you will get the option to buy an optional steering wheel which will add full console compatibility to this base. We want to achieve compatibility to both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and we are happy to announce that we already signed a contract with one of them. We will announce this product at the end of this year. There will be multiple steering wheels available in different price ranges and they will compatible to several Fanatec base units from mid-range to direct drive. 1 By Invitation Only The great response we get from our beta testers lead us to the conclusion that the demand for this product will be much bigger than the supply. Production output will be lower as before as we spend even more time on quality control and testing. At the same time we want to honor the loyalty of our existing customers and want to offer a special pre-order discount for the owners of the current ClubSport and CSR Elite base so that they can enjoy a little upgrade advantage. This is how it works: • We will send an e-mail to our webshop customers with an invite code. There will be several waves of e-mails in the next months. • Only after you entered the code to your profile page you will be able to purchase or pre-order this product • After you purchased one V2 base you will receive a second code. You can give that to a friend or buy a second base. • Only one code will be given with a purchase as we want to avoid that people are selling their products or invites on eBay and make money with it. • We will also give away invites in giveaway events so frequent followers of the blog or Facebook will also get a chance to get an invite This is the priority we will use for the invites to make it as fair and transparent as possible. 1. Webshop customers of the CSW B V1 and CSR E (sorted by purchase date) 2. Webshop customers of other ClubSport products like CSP or CSS 3. All other Fanatec customers Of course we will treat all territories with the same priority. Not every customer will use his invite so go ahead and ask your friends if they use their invite of if they give it to you in case you are not on the list yet. It is possible and welcome to transfer invite codes. Please do not ask our sales team for invites. They are not authorized to give out codes anyway. If it is your turn then you will get an e-mail. We will open a thread in our forum which explains more details and where you can also ask for invites from other members. By the way, all lucky customers who placed a pre-order for the old V1 base just got a free upgrade to V2 and they are the first to receive the new product. The Price Pre-order price: EU: 499,95 USA: 499,95 AUS: 655 J: 65.000 Regular price: EU: 599,95 USA: 599,95 AUS: 785 J: 78.000 Prices are calculated different in the regions depending on taxes, laws, logistic costs and other local costs. Availability We started production this week and as soon as we start shipping, we will open the pre-orders for the invited guests. The first products should arrive at the end of September or early October.
  6. CSL Elite Series by Fanatec

At first, the materials used seemed a little "cheap" and paddles didn't seem very reactive Using it, those impressions went away and the rim proved to be perfect both for formula and GT cars; paddles always worked fine The display is a great addition: at a first look it might seem as a simple addition to make the simracer happy, in reality it is incredibly useful while driving as you always know what rpm you're at, even when you barely look at it It takes sometimes to get used to buttons position, as they're not simmetric and you need to put your fingers at a different height on the two sides The only weak point in this rim is the material the grip is made of: it always leave a sense of "dirt" on your hands, especially during hot days. It would be great if Fanatec would release a similar rim with a better grip in the future (obviously at a higher cost) There is no quick release like in the other Fanatec's rims, but the mounting is always solid and this is clearly needed to contain cost. CSL Elite Pedals By default the pedals are sold in the two-pedals configuration. It is possible to add the third pedal with a load cell This time there are potentiometers instead of magnetic or hall sensors Potentiometers have 12 bit resolution, load cell has 16 bit resolution The higher resolution can be clearly seen with a calibration tool like DiView While driving you don't get a clear idea of the higher resolution, but in general you feel a great continuity in the pedal movement, that makes the driving very fluid and precise Default pedals have slightly different spring resistence Using the foam you can make the clutch/break pedal harder to push and can simulate the clutch bite The third pedal now works entirely as a load cell, there is no spring that then pushes on the load cell Using different elastometers and brake force you can get a lot of different settings, perfect for those who want a longer or shorter travel and resistence Adjusting pedals position always require to remove one of the two at the sides, it would have been nice to be able to adjust the position by letting the two bars exit from the sides, but it's a very minor problem Brake feeling is similar to the one you get while pressing a real car brake pedal with engine off, it takes sometimes to get used, but after that it is really rewarding The new driver also has a min/max settings that eliminates every possible deadzone Pedal's plate can be changed, there is no good support for heel and toe Three pedals solution might seem expensive, but it's a set fully made of metal and it is worth it CSL Elite Base The base at first seemed a competitor for T300, but as Fanatec says it aims at T500 That target is fully reached and is even better After driving professional steering systems that offer a lot of precision and strenght, the CSL Base is the first "commercial" base that gives a similar feeling When you think the FFB is clipping, in reality there's still room and it makes the driving very satisfying After testing the base with WheelCheck we saw there is no dead zone. At power on there's the standard calibration process, it always starts in XBox mode, but that's a limitation required by Microsoft and switching to PC mode is really fast The base has 1080 degrees of rotation There is some noticeable rattling, something unusual for a belt driven system, but it's a minor issue The base can be configured as usual with the settings on the rim By default, the base has a very "elastic" feeling, something similar to T300. Setting Drift Mode to 2 or 3 that feeling completely disappear and makes the base really shine, something that we've never been able to reach with some competitors' bases. If you're planning to upgrade your hardware, take in serious consideration this base as it feels almost like a new beginning for commercial (non professional) steering systems. CSL stands for „ClubSport Light“ and racing fans know that light is good. We essentially used the technology of the ClubSport series and concentrated on pure performance and durability rather than fancy materials or a the prefect finish you know from the ClubSport series. Of course we also had to cut a few features but on the other side we also added a few innovative features which cannot be found anywhere else. Therefore the CSL products are 100% Fanatec and state-of-the-art! You can find the full description on our webshop or in the press release but here are the highlights of the new base and the new pedals. Both products are sold separately and of course they are compatible to most previous Fanatec equipment. CSL Elite Wheel Base - Super strong and fast brushless servo motor which delivers 6 NM on the steering axis - Single belt drive unit with just one belt between axis and motor - Automotive grade QR system and compatibility to all Fanatec CSL or ClubSport steering wheels - 1080° of rotation. Good for drifting - Rev Lights integrated on the base - Strong table clamp integrated - 2 shifter ports plus handbrake port. There are CSL Shifters and handbrake also coming up next CSL Elite Pedals and CSL Elite Pedals Loadcell Kit - Solid full metal construction - Basic set comes with two pedals but with the optional Loadcell Kit you add a loadcell brake and transform the former brake pedal into a clutch pedal. - Great brake feeling even on the basic set as it comes with a strong metal spring and a PU foam damper/spring - The loadcell brake pedal is actually a big loadcell. The whole arm is the sensor and it measures pedal pressure of up to 90kg. Of Course you can adjust the brakeforce during gameplay. - Travel and stiffness of the LC brake can be easily and quickly adjusted without the need of tools - You can choose between 3 surfaces for your pedal plates. Blank metal, rubber or a sandpaper anti-skid patch My team has worked a long time and very hard to bring those products to the market. I am very proud of them and also my thanks goes to the feedback of all testers and the community for telling us what you really want and need. And finally a word to the PlayStation situation. We know that a lot of people want to know what the status is but we cannot announce anything before the contract is signed. We have a good relationship with Sony but we need to follow the rules and although there are absolutely no points of disagreement, sometimes things takes a while because of procedures and work flows. I am confident that we can announce a PS4 Version of this Wheel base soon. This post has been promoted to an article

AussieStig's Scoop! Fanatec CSL Elite PS4 / PC Wheel Yesterday I was at the Jumbo Racing Days event at the Zandvoort Circuit in The Netherlands. One of the wheels being used stood out to me, the product you’re looking at is the yet to be released CSL Elite Playstation 4 and PC supported wheel. Not many details were available, but I did try it in a 2 lap race.
  11. FanaLEDS (Fanatec display mod)

Fanaleds 2.4g released This version of Fanaleds should offer full compatibility with the latest version of RaceRoom Racing Experience (R3E) again. Also the RPM value in F1 2016 is fixed. Fanaleds is a free plugin for your sim racing hardware. Originally started on Fanatec wheels that make use of telemetry from games which is shown on the display. This telemetry information includes things like the current speed and the gear you're in. Some games even give us the option to detect wheel locking and making the brake pedal on the Clubsport Pedals vibrate to simulate ABS. For an overview of features per game we would like to refer to this page. Fanaleds supports all Fanatec wheels, the SLI-M, SLI-PRO and SLI-F1 display from Leo Bodnar, "The Dash" from Siminstruments, the Steelseries SRW-S1 and the Logitech G27 and G29. Each device has extended options which are configurable individually. Check this page to see which features are available on the supported hardware. 12. Fanatec releases features, prices and pictures of their new product: ClubSport Wheel Base V2.5 Landshut, Germany – 02.03.2017 – Fanatec today introduced a new product of the rock-solid ClubSport Series, a facelift for their signature product. The ClubSport Wheel Base V2.5 is a careful and precise evolution of the highly successful V2. While utilizing most of the proven technology of it's predecessor, the V2.5 also comes with more advanced electronics and a new motor for improved feeling, functionality and even higher durability. Due to the strong demand and high volumes we also managed to significantly lower the price of this wheel base. The electronics now feature a faster USB update rate of 1000 Hz and allow for firmware updates of the new motor driver. The tuning menu features have been improved, now featuring an advanced drift mode, which can now add a natural damper to avoid oscillation or a negative damper which will speed up the wheel while turning. The front plate of the CS WB V2.5 comes in a new finish, displaying the Fanatec logo. All ClubSport Wheel Base V2 pre-orders will be delivered as V2.5 automatically. 13. In 2017 we will announce a couple of exciting products and this is the first. The new ClubSport Pedals V3 inverted. It was developed for our driving school simulator and while the floor mounted CSP V3 are more close to a pure race car, the modified sportscars in a GT series come with inverted pedals. Unlike other solutions on the market, the CSP V3i will come with two hanging and one floor mounted pedal. Just like in a real car. We are also using exactly the same ergonomics as in a sports car so they are not just inverted. Here are the changes to the regular CSP V3: Clutch and brake pedals inverted More travel and different mechanics on the clutch Comes with damper kit pre-installed on the brake Longer heel rest Wider distance in between the pedals The rest of the features is the same as on the CSP V3. We decided to use the PU foam and damper instead of the Eladur springs as this will give you a more realistic travel and feel. If you like the ultra stiff feeling of a formula car then you can still purchase the optional brake performance kit for those pedals as well. The stiffest setting of the Default V3i is a little bit softer than the softest stick combination of the BPK. The footprint is the same as on the V3 pedals so it should fit well into most cockpits. A lot of customers keep asking us how they can invert their CSP V3 or V2 and if we can offer an upgrade kit. As it is quite complicated to assemble it we decided to develop a completely new product and there will be no conversion kit. It took way too long to develop this product and I learned that nothing is as easy as it seems if you want to make it right. The ClubSport Pedal V3 inverted are in the warehouse and ready to ship in the EU and USA/Canada. Australia and Japan will follow soon

  16. “We managed to convince Microsoft that the handbrake is now a standard feature implemented into the console so it is easy to support and we will send samples to all relevant publishers. On PS3 it will not be supported for now.” il freno a mano utilizzerà un potenziometro: “precision is not that important and we wanted to make the product affordable.”

He is also a simracer and so we teamed up and he will help us to make this dream happen. The plan is to get a team and car ready for the race in 2018. We need to start from scratch and learn how to race, make licenses, how to build up a car and how to survive without damaging ourselves or others. Our target for 2018 is not just to be an driving obstacle, we want to compete. The team will consist of 4 Drivers. At least two will be Endor employees but we will also recruit one or two drivers from the community. If it is a success in 2018 then we will do it every year and bring more drivers to the best track in the world. Our first step was to take a full track day with Dale. The track was reserved for participants of this Event and we were able to make 20 laps (=400km). My product designer, Bernhard, was with me and both of us were driving two laps with Dale as coach and then we changed. Dale taught us all those little tricks you need to know and while he was talking and talking our brains tried to save all that Information and at the same time keeping the car on track. We had a modified BMW 228i with roll cage and sport tyres but the engine was standard. It was a great car to start and have fun and we gave several Porsches and GT-Rs a hard time with it. The McLaren P1 was a bit faster though. We finished the session by letting Dale drive a lap and that brought us back on the ground and we realized that it is still a long way to go for us. Thanks to Dale for this fantastic day. Next step will be to make the National license A and to build up a car during winter time. I will keep you posted!
At the Simracing Expo I met a great guy and he inspired me to make an old dream come true: Participating in the famous 24H race on the Nürburgring. The guy I met was Dale Lomas, the famous driver of the Ring-Taxi, blogger and one of the most experienced Nordschleife experts in the world. He is doing 2000 laps per year!
