I've been working on this for a while, there's about 7-8 days in the modeling, unwrap and texturing of the car model, theres about 5-7 days in the planning, exporting/importing of .gmt's and .dds files and a few more in code editing and getting stuff to show up in the engine. Thanks to everybody here for helping bumpstart this, I would be lost without you. So now it moves and as you can see, it is only the start but not the finish. I have some suspension and steering woes you can see in the movie.

Porsche 962 ----------- - WSC engine have a new turbo flow. - Rear Goodyear tyres now uses 18 inch rims instead 19 inches. - New Ultrachassis added with revised suspensions geometries/chassis flex. - New CPM tyres with the latest options. Sauber C11 ---------- - Improved performance (less drag, more grip, etc). - Updated engine brake torque, throttle maps, mixtures and softened turbo pressure build up. - Reduced drag caused by rake. - Added undertray points and improved collision detection and aerodynamics while flipping in the air. - Updated tire construction materials and resolution (more flexible and detailed). - Improved all tires thermodynamics, wear and grip for wet weather. - Reduced rubbered path effect on tire grip. - Reduced grass, dirt, and other terrain types effects on tire temperature. ------ Sounds ------ - Mazda 787B: Improved low rpm power range and high rpm coast sample. - Porsche 962C: Added high rpm variants for exterior engine. - Sauber C11: Increased turbo intensity. - All cars updated to cockpit damping feature. It includes two layouts (the F1 GP layout and a GT layout shortcutting the chicane) and a range of new trackside objects. If you have a less powerful PC you can make good use of the Track Detail and Shadow Detail settings which are extensively implemented. The track is designed to work comfortably with High settings (one below maximum) but does provide some extra objects and non-essential shadows for those who have the hardware to support it.

  10. I spoke to Lasercutter today and have made a small update to the circuit as we have a upcoming league race and found the same clutter in the pitbox issue. I've removed the clutter so now cars can use all the pitboxes (the 27 limit still remains) and remade the loading screen. There are no other changes at this point however I may look further into updating textures/road detail in the future.   12. Da Facebook arriva qualche novità sui primi esperimenti del team in rF2. Se questo porterà ad una conversione completa del mod Historic GT & TC è presto per dirlo, ma intanto possiamo seguire i loro aggiornamenti. So, the AMC Javelin is already in rF2. The tire deformation, body's damage layer and other new features are implemented and working. And a new UI is coming along also.. Looking good so far.. But keep enjoying v1.9, there's a long way to go..

If you push too hard too soon, the long-term pace and tyre life will be jeopardized. This mod is an endurance mod, like in real life, strategy is important. S7 tires are the softest compound, S9 are the hardest compound.- S7 tyres can handle 30 laps at a circuit like Spa-Francorchamps. The S7 is the tyre to use in Sprint races (Lasting one hour or less).- S8 lets you run a double-fuel stint and can last roughly two hours.- S9 can last up to three hours so it is a great option for proper endurance races- Reworked default setups which now offer a great blend between drivability and stability.- Added latest rFactor2 tech such as:- ABS, Traction Control (default setting is Medium), rain drop shaders and behavior to body and windscreen (wipers are now necessary), tweaked chassis flex, fuel movement- Undocumented and not fully supported by the game, we added night lights in the cockpits of 997, 12C, SLS, and Z4 as per real life references.     ciao a tutti! ho appena acquistato un logitech g25, ho installato rfactor e sono in procinto di costruirmi una postazione artigianale. vorrei sapere quali sono le mod più giocate online in modo da trovare facilmente della gare a cui partecipare.. io ho scaricato la mod "wtcc extreme" con cui mi trovo abbastanza bene, ma non mi sembra molto diffusa in internet, e le mod F1 1993 (un po' difficile) e 1979.. fate conto che sono all'inizio del gioco quindi sono gradite mod con auto "umane".. grazie a tutti per l'aiuto.

  24. E' disponibile al DOWNLOAD il nuovo mod del Campionato Italiano rF2. Il mod è da ritenersi DEFINITIVO, lo staff interverrà solo in caso di bug o importanti problemi riscontrati durante i test. E' quindi importante che tutti voi postiate, come già accaduto, le vostre opinioni in merito a questa nuova fisica, totalmente rivista rispetto alla precedente versione. Nel pacchetto del mod, troverete anche una cartella "rF_scan", accompagnata dal relativo "Plugins", necessaria al funzionamento dell'anticheat (presto sarà resa disponibile un'accurata spiegazione) e di alcune regole implementate nel regolamento finale. Thirteen teams competed over a nine event series that run from May 7 at Istanbul Park in Turkey to September 11 at Monza in Italy. The series again performed the role of a series for developing emerging young drivers, acting as the principal supporting motor racing series that fills in time between sessions of the nine World Championship Formula One Grands Prix that are held in Europe. The championship was won by reigning GP2 Asia champion Romain Grosjean at the penultimate round of the series. Romain Grosjean (DAMS) won the drivers' championship. Following a three-year cycle, the previous GP2 chassis was replaced by a brand new car, the GP2/11, built by Italian racing car manufacturer Dallara. The series will change tyre supplier from Bridgestone to Pirelli for 2011–13. The 2011 season saw the addition of two new teams to the grid, Carlin and Team AirAsia. Meanwhile, DPR was not selected to continue in the series. F1-S-R GP2 -2011 season features all the teams, drivers and updated Liveries of both the GP2 series and GP2 Asia series. PATCH: DOWNLOAD New Physics by DaveSR1 The physics component of this update is as follows: Tires have been tweaked to tighten up the mechanical (low speed) rear grip. Brake optimum temperature range has been broadened to make the duct setting less critical This addresses the problem of the front brakes overheating into the fade range, making the rears tend to lock up. So now it is easier to set the brake duct so both front and rear remain in the right temperature zone. Still an important setup item though. The aero package has changed to a setting range of 1 to 12, but with 3 DF packages, purchaseable in the upgrades section. There is the standard setup, (the default), and a High DF wing for tracks like Monaco or Hungary, and a Low DF wing for tracks like Monza. You will need to select the appropriate DF level before going to the track. Like they do IRL Tire model fixed by PeterV, Talent files by F1lover New Mercedes safetycar CTD for Carlin and cockpit textures fixed Showcar fixed so shows correct skin in showroom. Correct Pirelli straight logo New cam files New skins for main series Addax, Air Asia Supernova and some tweaks on others new UI and showroom, including openwheel car in hud on track. Patch should be loaded over Public release and files overwritten. Thanks to all who helped in the making of this great mod, and for your patience in waiting for this patch.
