VELOCIPEDE Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Need for Speed The Run Car Reveal Wrap-Up #11 We're around six weeks from the release of Need For Speed The Run, and now we're starting to see some of the incredible cars that will be speeding across the United States. On Tuesday, the absolutely stunning Aston Martin V12 Vantage made its way to the starting line of The Run. This is just the first of three supercars we announced this week. Following the British beauty, we announced two Italian exotics that will certainly be competing down the final stretch of the race. The Pagani Huayra isn't even released to the public yet, but on November 15th, you can have all 700 horsepower to yourself. Only a few cars in the world could run neck and neck with the Huayra, and the Lamborghini LP670-4 SV is one of them. Il pacchetto di prova consente di guidare la Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni e - una volta invitato un amico a scaricare la demo - anche la Porsche 911 Carrera S 2012 tra le Desert Hills della California e nell'Independence Pass del Colorado, organizzando le sfide attraverso l'Autolog. VELOCIPEDE Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Need for Speed The Run Car Reveal Wrap-Up #12 Four cars made their introduction to Need For Speed The Run this week. We kicked it off with the incredible Porsche 918 RSR, a 700+hp hybrid race car. The 918 is absolutely gorgeous and will feature some iconic liveries from the classic 917. Following that German masterpiece, is one from the other side of the world, different in nearly every way. The Mazda RX-7 RZ was only available in Japan, but anyone can use it to race for their life in The Run. To end the week, we took a look at two classics, the Audi quattro 20 V, and the Chevrolet El Camino SS. The Audi is one of the best known rally cars in history, and the first to turbocharge a four-wheel-drive. The El Camino SS has a monster 454 V8 under it's hood, making it a defnite "sleeper" in the cross-country race. If you're looking for something unexpected, look no further than this Chevy. Tutto questo ci viene raccontato dal nuovo trailer e dalle immagini a corredo. VELOCIPEDE Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Viene svelato nel video qui sotto parte del background che fa da sfondo agli eventi del prossimo Need for Speed the Run, incentrato su una folle corse coast to coast da San Francisco a New York a bordo di vari bolidi, con tanto di sezioni al di fuori dell'auto. Ben visibili in questo video i due attori scelti da EA per interpretare i protagonisti, modellati sulle fattezze di Christina Hendricks (Mad Man) e Sean Faris (Vampire Diaries). Inoltre per gli utenti Gold di XBox Live è già disponibile la demo del gioco, che offre la possibilità di guidare una Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni sul tracciato infuocato del deserto del Nevada, per arrivare poi all'Independence Pass. Giocando in due, è possibile utilizzare la Porsche 911 Carrera S. Il pacchetto da scaricare "pesa" 1,20 GB. Christina Hendricks, è la pettoruta rossa protagonista della serie TV Mad Men, e Sean Faris, anche lui protagonista di serie televisiva, nella fattispecie The Vampire Diaries: sono loro i personaggi principali della storia: la Hendricks è Sam Harper, una donna ambiziosa e scaltra con la passione per le auto, che fa da manager ai migliori piloti nello spietato mondo delle corse illegali su strada. Nella storia narrata in Need for Speed: The Run, Sam ha deciso di puntare su Jack Rourke, il protagonista, che cacciatosi nei guai con la mafia e oberato da un debito che non può ripagare, si ritrova a dover correre nella spietata corsa alla base del gioco, "sponsorizzato" da Sam nel tentativo di vincere i 25 milioni di dollari in palio.
