The Need for Speed Scavenger Hunt will take place with each new car announcement for Need for Speed The Run. It’s easy to enter: If you spot the car that we unveiled that day (on the street, in your garage, etc.) snap a picture of it and send it to us either through Twitter or Facebook. After 24 hours, we will randomly select a winner who will win a sweet prize from our swag closet!

Here are a few guidelines to go by:

1. To enter on Twitter: Post a photo to @NeedForSpeed with the hashtag #NFSTheRunSH

2. To enter on Facebook: Post your photo on our wall with the hashtag #NFSTheRunSH

3. Please no pictures from the internet (NFSCoulter has freakish super-human powers that enable him to spot these from across the room ;-)

Need for Speed The Run Car Reveal Wrap-Up #9

With less than eight weeks before the release of The Run, you'll see us start to roll out cars more often, so get ready!

This week we showed you the Lotus Exige Cup 260, an incredibly lightweight British sports car that will have no trouble taking corners at speed with unreal acceleration on the exit.

While you're tearing down the highway in a Lotus, make sure to check your rear view mirror frequently because the Ford Interceptor Police Concept is going to be hot on your heels!

For those that love Underground, you'll definitely want to check out the Underground Edition Nissan 370Z (Z34). Full of custom parts and an incredible paintjob, make sure you pre-order the Limited Edition.

Yesterday, we showed you a small preview of the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition. In The Run, the car is an absolute monster. If you're a fan of American muscle, this is a must-have!

Electronic Arts ha riassunto in poco più di un minuto la trama di Need For Speed: The Run, episodio che collega le gare su strada di tipo arcade al cinema d'azione. Nei panni del ricercato "Jack" dovremo correre per 3000 miglia dalla Bay Area alla Grande Mela in una competizione senza freni per 200 piloti, con alcune fasi ambientate fuori dall'auto.

Need For Speed The Run Car Reveal Wrap-Up #10

More cars are starting to be unveiled each week, and this week was no different. We kicked off the week showing what would be one of the cars chasing you down, the Dodge Charger SRT8 Police car. With a top speed of 170mph, there's not much it can't run down, so be careful! Following that, we turned to one of the greatest cars from racing's golden era, the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe. Known for tearing up the GT class in endurance races in the mid-sixties, the Shelby Daytona is a perfect choice for a race across the country.

The Nissan GT-R SpecV (R35) is an absolute monster, some might even say Godzilla (Get it?). With loads of horsepower, and lots of fans, expect to be seeing a lot of this car in The Run.

To round out the week, we finished with some good old American Muscle. The Chevrolet Camaro SS is a classic that demands respect.What better way to speed across the US than in one of its most beloved cars? Dopo aver scelto due avvenenti fanciulle per promuovere il titolo e animare la vita del nostro eroe, EA ha deciso di mostrarci ancora qualche altra immagine di Irina Shayk and Chrissy Teigen che in questo filmato sottotitolato in italiano ci parlano della loro partecipazione a Need for Speed: The Run. Irina, che prima di trionfare nelle pagine di Sports Illustrated ha posato anche per la linea Armani Exchange, si annoiava talmente tanto alla scuola di marketing che si è buttata sulla cosmetica. O questo è quello che dichiara lei anche se sospettiamo che dopo aver capito che la merce più preziosa era la sua bellezza ha deciso di imparare a impacchettarla al meglio. Ovviamente anche Crissy Taigen è una modella ed è arrivata a fare da testimonial per i costumi di Sports Illustrated grazie alle sue forme e ai suoi particolari lineamenti di origine Thai-Norvegese. Partita come testimonial di diverse marche celebri giovanili è passata poi per quel potentissimo trampolino di lancio che si chiama Victoria's Secret.

EA prematurly revealed that a Need For Speed: The Run demo will be released on October 18, 2011, and will feature Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni, set in a a desert race, but if you refer a friend to the demo, you will also unlock the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera.
