A sorpresa, MAK-Corp annuncia il rilascio di questo nuovo mod. v0.9 *Ui/Menu pictures added. *Basic Suits and IFS3 series helmet added to drivers. *A final material run through revealed a couple of items missed, all material clashes are now removed at last. *Fixed flickering/blacked out Rainlight. *New Livery added - Phoenix Racing #09, bringing the mod to 20 vehicles. *All skins updated and final logos and decals added. *Re-balance of materials, toning them down as necessary and corrected over-shiny carbon. *Steering Wheel mesh and texture updated. *Body and Wing mesh density increased in some places to smooth out stepping. *various tweaks. We did want to do a new physics update but until the tyre tool is working properly for us, there is no point. We are looking to include that in our next update subject to the tyre tool behaving.     rF2: Formula RC by ISI v1.002

    Il team ISI ha rilasciato per rFactor 2 una nuova versione aggiornata della sua divertente Formula RC, ovvero una mini monoposto radiocomandata, decisamente spassosa da controllare! Ideally you can use an adapted R/C controller or game pad. If you have to use a steering wheel, we recommend setting the steering range to something like 120 deg (which on most wheels is done automatically), and enabling centering spring set on maximum. For those who have never driven an R/C sim, it will be very difficult to acclimatize, especially to driving from track side cameras. If you’re enthusiastic about this, and give it time, it will come to you.

Trackside camera Group 1 allows manual zoom controls; with default zoom it will be difficult to see the car at the far ends. The circuit is bigger than a typical real life circuit. Group 2 has autozooming, but does not allow for manual overrides. The car was partially done as an experiment and private project, and did help to track down some issues. Boundary testing like this, you often find issues much quicker, by experimenting with the abnormal. The car is rather powerful, it has one of the best engines available in 5th scale racing, to help tame it, setting taller gear ratios may be of benefit.

    rFactor 2: Ferrari 643 v1.2

    Il team F1ASR ha rilasciato per rFactor 2 la nuova versione aggiornata 1.2 della sua bellissima Ferrari 643, monoposto Rossa che fu di Alain Prost e Jean Alesi. Fra le migliorie di questa release, troviamo una nuova fisica, migliorati i backfire e la luce rainlight, aggiornati alcune shaders.     rFactor 2: 500 Abarth 695 v3.2

    E' disponibile per rFactor 2 la nuova versione aggiornata 3.2 della divertentissima FIAT 500 Abarth creata da Slow Motion, convertendo in modo ottimale la precedente release di rFactor. Il pacchetto ci mette a disposizione tre modelli della vettura: la 500 Assetto Corse, la 695 Assetto Corse e la 695 Evoluzione. Buon divertimento e... buone sportellate! Features 3.2 - added few new coefficients into several physic files (engine, cockpitinfo, susp, hdv) - added talent file (same names but different performances for each driver - hard fight now!) - wider range for seat adjustment - new categorization of the vehicles: main one is now "Fiat Abarth" only and then you find the 3 classes and cars for each class. For dedicated still 3 classes are directly available - raised a little the NoseCam view - new structure for gear embedded into the HDV files

    Items not in the build notes of the readme (no idea why, I grabbed what I thought appropriate from the dev list, disclaimer is that some of this could be held, I will ask for clarification): Version 1.879 Fixed a very minor memory leak. #ifdefing out more flash UI tendrils. AI: smoothed out the corner widening associated with rcd parameter UnderSteerEffectOnLineThreshold trigger as well as with rear grip lose. Made the rate of "corner widening" relative either to the car's lateral velocity or lateral position relative to current waypoint direction. Version 1.875 Fix problem seeing steering wheel in rear look under certain conditions. minor change to const char ptr to comform to gM2 API updates Allow replays to run without the correct version of a scene or vehicle, but only after checking for the correct one first. disabled virtual vehicle multiplayer transfer for release build enabled virtual vehicles to be selected in multiplayer, with that information being propagated to server then to all clients. Version 1.873 Some code to help with blurry rims. Fixed issue where driver body sometimes appears while rear-looking. Version 1.869 Added log message and assert if there are no collidable triangles in SCN, which isn't really handled. Added proper fix for unexpected behavior - not sure what of fixes to new pit/garage assigment code fixed AI tire drag calculation Made new pit/garage assignment work with driver changes (probably needs testing). Added a new default method for assigning pit/garage spots in multiplayer which keeps them more consistent over a weekend. This new default method can be disabled by changing the multiplayer.json value "Assign Parking" to false (at which point it will revert to using the traditional team-based pit/garage assignments). Version 1.865 Lock in demo mod when using creating a new plr file with the +demo CLI parameter set. Changed things for weather and a few random fixes More work-in-progress scoring plugin interface. TTool: in the Realtime section, removed the somewhat-useless 'Width' and added the somewhat-useful 'Dynamic Unloaded Radius'. Work-in-progress scoring plugin moved version numbers for vehicles tree list down to the individual cars instead of the class headers dev mode AIW editor fix for moving path on last waypoint of pit lane New contact patch model is mentioned in notes, not sure if it went into 880 - will ask. Version 1.861 Added additional options for the RFM variable 'FinishUnderCaution' to allow the finish to be delayed up to 3x. Previous options were off, 1x, or infinite. Slightly better AI bumpstop damping. Deal with some uninitialized data in old TGMs that is now actually used. Most of new tire contact patch code added. Should be backwards-compatible (i.e. no changes to existing tires, needs new +ttool analysis to activate). Does *not* currently react correctly to changes in pressure/temperature/rotation/camber. - again not sure if in 880 - will ask. Pace cars now look for a path called "PACECAR" to drive, otherwise defaults to fastest path. Fixed a possible game freeze using the AIW editor "move & Match" waypoint by waypoint manipulation function. Fixed a bug in AI logic that could result in cars taking high speed corners a bit too fast and wide. fixed crash when scrolling mouse wheel in empty console Added callback/lambda function for a procedure to be defined and called when a server service module (in this case skin transfers) has completed an procedure regardless if successful. Minor fixes to prevent crash when exiting from "rF2 already running" condition Slightly improved the data put into the dump file (when enabled), which increases its size roughly 3x. There has been a couple of reports of what we consider minor issues (crash on exit). We would appreciate any reports you can give on this as there are not enough examples in the internal testing group (and wouldn't be in the unstable group). Multiplayer sessions, that is. Auto update might be a while. At the moment I do not know when for that.     rFactor 2: Ferrari 643 by F1 ASR v1.0

    Gli amici del team F1 ASR hanno finalmente rilasciato per rFactor 2 la versione 1.0 della mitica Ferrari 643 della stagione 1991 di Formula 1, monoposto che fu portata in pista per la prima volta da Alain Prost e Jean Alesi nel GP di Francia, conquistando addirittura la pole proprio con Prost! Non dimenticate una piccola donazione al modding team per il suo splendido lavoro. It was not a fast car, but many of us find it beautiful! The Ferrari 643 driven by Alain Prost and Jean Alesi, is the first car “Open Wheel Classic” that we are developing for rF2. Available now the 1.0 version with physical Historic Edition!

    rFactor 2: ecco cosa arriverà...

    Con un lungo post sul suo blog, il team ISI ci aggiorna su cosa arriverà nel prossimo futuro per rFactor 2: come prima cosa il nuovo circuito storico di Tiger Moth Aerodrome, che possiamo apprezzare anche nel video qui sotto, quindi l'ovale di Mountain Peak, adatto alle stock car Gen6, che incorpora anche un tracciato stradale ed una pista karting, non mancano poi varie migliorie grafiche, che si possono notare dagli screens, sulle stock car, la pista di Jacksonville e Atlanta. ISI conferma poi l'arrivo della AC Cobra 27, Honda NSX e Chevrolet Corvette C6 !
