    Assetto Corsa 0.15 Early Access Update

    In anticipo rispetto al solito tardo pomeriggio, la Kunos Simulazioni ha rilasciato tramite Steam un nuovo aggiornamento per il suo Assetto Corsa: la nuova versione 0.15 Early Access è più che altro un upgrade tecnico, con numerosi bugfix ed alcune migliorie, ma soprattutto mette a disposizione della comunità modders il tanto atteso editor. The new build brings several fixes and finally welcomes the modding community thanks to the inclusion of the Assetto Corsa SDK dedicated to 3rd party productions for tracks. Initially scheduled to be included in Assetto Corsa 1.0, the editor has been released in advance, in order to assist all those modders who are already working to their home-made tracks. The Assetto Corsa SDK is available for download in the Steam Library > Tools \ Tab, and includes a free sample track for training and testing. We are glad to see so many 3rd party tracks already available for Assetto Corsa. However, we remind that conversions of original content taken from other games is not what we would like to see coming in Assetto Corsa. We hope to see only original content coming to AC from modders.   6. Kunos Simulazioni ha appena pubblicato questo interessantissimo video dedicato ai tool ufficiali con cui i modder potranno importare i loro lavoro in Assetto Corsa. Se siete tra coloro che realizzano contenuti aggiuntivi per il sim, sicuramente sarà una visione interessante. We're glad to introduce the first tutorial regarding modding tools of Assetto Corsa. Modders will have access on the same tools used by the developers. This Friday we will release the graphics editor in beta version, that permits to import and edit 3D files and export in Assetto Corsa format.

    Nuove piste per Assetto Corsa

    I sempre attivi modder continuano a sfornare nuovi circuiti per Assetto Corsa o a migliorare le loro precedenti release. Oggi vi segnaliamo due aggiornamenti e un nuovo tracciato: Eximo ha migliorato Mallory Park, mentre linolafett ha pubblicato un nuovo aggiornamento del suo atteso circuito del Canada (in video qui sotto). Dori, infine, ci dà invece modo di gareggiare su Dragon Range, un percorso di fantasia adatto sia alle gare in salita che discesa.

I designed it for drifting, there's an up hill and down hill version. I included a blank for the wrong way warning and a back up of the original. I have the AI for the up hill in the down hill track too so the cameras work (making cameras is a pain). I also included an AI line for down hill if you don't want to get rid of the wrong way warning, only the replay cameras are not set up for it. I will fix this when there's a working camera tool. None of the included Ai will actually work for racing. I didn't think it will be important for a drift track, I just wanted the replay cams to work. I got most of the textures free online, from places like Deviant Art, so did what I can for now with them, until I learn to do this properly. I will be extending the track to about 8km once I get what I have looking good and running good. The bottom of the hill was meant to be like a small town or city, but I'll have to wait until I can do it properly, so I just threw something in there so it doesn't look too bare. v0.4.1 Added online friendly downhill track with no AI. v0.4 New terrain textures New grass textures with flowers road signs added remodeled some terrain New concrete shader and some shader adjustments. New lakes added, with experimental water. added 35 pit boxes more accurate track map v0.3.1 Fixed mistakes in downhill track, mainly grass should look much better now. v0.3 First version made using the ks editor. Pretty much every shader adjusted and textures changed for some parts. Rebuilt terrain, saved more than 50% less vertices. New illumination. New background mountains added. Runs great now best performance and best looking version yet. v0.2.2 Fixed grass New shaders for terrain, tarmac, armco and walls. Various shader and texture adjustments v0.2.1 Online compatiblity. v0.2 Lots of optimisations, terrain and cherry trees redone. Palm trees added. Improved Grass. Roundabout at down hill start added. Wall fixed to stop weird stuff. Some shaders adjusted. I wanted to do more with shaders and textures for this version, but I'm having trouble importing my track to the Ks editor.     La F14-T compare in Assetto Corsa

    Uno dei mod più promettenti in fase di lavorazione per Assetto Corsa è sicuramente quello dedicato alla stagione di F1 2014, in fase di realizzazione presso il team F1ASR, sorto dalle ceneri degli F1-S-R. Oggi abbiamo modo di ammirare il primo test in pista della Ferrari F14-T, la monoposto con cui Alonso e Raikkonen stanno partecipando al mondiale in corso. La vettura sembra realizzata in maniera davvero eccezionale, non vediamo l'ora di metterci le nostre mani sopra!   16. Guida su come accedere al multiplayer -> Assetto Corsa multiplayer User Interface Assetto Corsa Early Access - Build 0.9 available now! First of all, thank you for your patience and your kind support about the delay occured with the last release of Assetto Corsa 0.9. The unexpected issue (a random black screen occured when playing single-player races) that caused the delay of the release on May 2nd, has been finally recognized and fixed. Meanwhile, the guys involved with the multiplayer mode took advantage of this delay to improve the netcode and the communication with the servers, focusing on the core networking systems and stripping it from most of its advanced features. Multiplayer mode is such a feature that needs massive tests that can't be brought to completion only by a private betatesting team. Now that the basic functions have been completed and are available for public testing, we are confident that our devteam will be able to monitor the online activities with the aim to fix unforeseen bugs and improve the online experience, as well adding all the big and small features that will make AC multiplayer a great online experience. Starting from the basics and improving step by step is part of the Early Access program. For your consideration, please note that the multiplayer feature that will be released is still in ALPHA phase: using the support forum to report any issue you might encounter will help our devteam to improve the netcode and its related features. Here's following the list of features and known issues: Working Features: - Booking system - Pre-booked clients from server admins - Password protected server for booking - Password saving for different servers - Multi class races - Race weekend (practice,qualifying,race) with configurable duration and number of laps - Select penalty system or not. - Track cycling - Loop mode - Maximum client limit, determined by circuit pit boxes - Clients may re-join at any session if booked. - Dedicated server available. - 10 public official servers Known Issues - Please check and report unknown issues at our official support forums - Official server are set to 15 clients and we will gradually increase the clients number with testing.   17. Tra le piste più interessanti in fase di lavorazione per Assetto Corsa c'è sicuramente quella di Montreal. Linolafett ci mostra oggi due nuove immagini di come procedono i lavori, che al momento si stanno concentrando sulla creazione degli elementi primari del circuito e sulle texture, grazie a nuovo materiale che il modder ha ricevuto. Sicuramente un lavoro da seguire con attenzione.

I wanted to export my Fuji Speedway Short from rFactor to Assetto Corsa, now it's done Track Caracteristics : Layout used in Assetto Corsa(AI line ; there is no cone or something like that) : A1 B3 C2 (look at the map) Length (A1 B3 C2 in Bob's Track Builder) : 857m Width : 12m - 10m Country : Japan City : Oyama Pitboxes : 7 Starting grid : 10 Racing anti-clockwise Know issues : - AI not working, I used the AI dev app but the AI don't move. - Some objects doesn't have 2 sided material (trees and guardrail) - Camera is below the track - Guardrail collisions make the car jump in some case - When you take a screenshot with Assetto Corsa App some objects will be white If you experiment a bug or a glitch, tell me DOWNLOAD
