GPLea Crystal Palace for Assetto Corsa V1.0 Converted by Tonto from RFactor1 with kind permission from Ken (MotorFX) using 3DSimEd, 3Ds Max and Kunos Simulazione Editor 20 pitboxes and AI all working. Not sure about the pit lane though Timing seems to work NO working Map No Cameras Tested for for bugs, for some reason it will only load 6 Lotus 49's. Other Cars seem fine, I may have missed a few other bugs DOWNLOAD

Hello AC followers, gradually we are getting closer to the release candidate version of Assetto Corsa: the next update should already include some changes to the graphics engine that will allow us to test the overall compatibility, although you might not see any new effects until the new algorithms will prove to be stable. More details will follow soon. The next update of Assetto Corsa Early Access is scheduled for 18th July and it should include the long awaited Lotus 98T. As already known, Assetto Corsa AI, utilizes the same physics model used by the player. With more than 1000 horse power and tons of downforce produced by this amazing grand prix car, the AI finds it very challenging keeping a proper racing line. The reasons will be clear to you too, when you will try staying on track while driving this unbelievably fast and “raw” racing car. We are working to improve AI interactions and hopefully we'll be able to include the Lotus 98T in next update and include AI enhancements to the sim. A big "thank you" to all those people who join the Early Access program every day. Please feel free to report all bugs found, give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, opinions, and as always, feel free to donate (link on website) Also feel free to make youtube videos/first looks on the car (no proper reviews please as it is still beta). But you MUST link to the acusccmod.weebly.com website in the description of your video (or in the actual vidoe of course). Current known issues: The model is equivalent to the 2nd LOD, the first one will be much smoother around the edges, and nicer to look at, so keep that in mind. And there isn't really an interior yet..... The AI are wonky. If @Aristotelis could give me an explanation of the .ini for the AI via PM that'd be awesome (I'd add it to the physics questions database as well) There are NO LODs at the moment, so the car will be much more taxing on your PC than any of Kunos'.     Doppia news dagli RSR

    Il rilascio del tool ufficiale per importare le vetture in Assetto Corsa ha portato diversi modder a mostrare qualche anteprima in-game dei loro lavori. Gli RSR ci mostrano un'immagine dell'attesa Lamborghini Gallardo su cui sono al lavoro: rilasciata inizialmente per netKar Pro, la vettura è stata poi convertita per Assetto Corsa, subendo un restyling completo durante la fase di conversione. Non meno interessante è poi l'annuncio del loro nuovo lavoro, una monoposto che correrà questo weekend a Spa e che sarà sviluppata in collaborazione con l'ingegnere del team reale: riuscire ad indovinare di cosa si tratta?

My first go at converting a track over , The trees still need more attention , And two materials need changing but can not find them in 3DS Max or the SDK , So will make new UV,s when we have the time to finish it , 41 Pitboxes , 41 Startboxes , Hotlap / Challenge ect all Added , Sector 0,1,2 Added , Some more tweeks and adjustments will be made ect after community feedback to get it to the 1.0 Final Version , On the 2 downslopes I have watched many videos and noticed that there was some bumps I have added them to the track intentional , the car now makes the exact same noises as you drive over the bumps as the reference video I used , Also someone mentioned after beta testing that they thought there where more bumps around the track but will look further into to it later on , One of the best tracks I have drove on AC really challenging to master a great track and a must have !   8. AC mod WIP Alfa Romeo Concept Retrofutura 33/2 My Alfa Romeo Concept Retrofutura 33/2 WIP is reviving the past of Alfa Romeo's whole range of 33/2 mid engine v8 street and race cars. I have started to designed the concept during the 2010, with in mind to be a mod for GTR2 simulation game. The GTR2 is a great game but am afraid it doesnt offer what I am asking for. Hence I will go for AC as my main game for the mod and showcase. The game is just used to "bring to life" the concept car, and is the second best thing I could do. Only thing better would be that the car really would exist. I have started on improving the model in terms of poly count to meet the AC poly limits for car models of 60K while finishing off the design. (Currently whole cars and wheels about 30K) From technical aspect I decided to fit the car in the range of the F458. The Alfa has 1 cm shorter wheel base and similar wheel track as the Ferrari. The technical similarities don’t stop there as it has similar spec. engine, gearbox and tire and rim size. The physics test in game show that the performances are just about right as it has similar lap time to the real F458 fonte Nogrip

    Fonte. Here's a small app like the one iRacing has! Kept it small and compact so that it doesnt take up much screen space but also tried to make it as easily modifiable as possible.   12. I know I have never really posted here before but I am finally breaking the ice and revealing what car I am contributing to AC, the 2013 Lamborghini Veneno LP750-4. It is one of the most challenging cars to model but I am going to try and take the time and create it! Physics and other help would be much appreciated.   13. This is a conversion of the rFactor circuit by Madcowie and Lasercutter. Autumn Ring is a fictional circuit from the Gran Turismo series. The normal variant is 2.9km long, while the mini circuit is only 1.3km. Due to the short length It is more suited for slower cars, but there can be some good GT3 racing on the longer circuit. E credeteci, lo comprendiamo: da appassionati, anche noi cerchiamo costantemente di migliorare il nostro lavoro. E se da un lato continuiamo a lavorare per migliorare e ottimizzare le routine single e multiplayer, dall'altro abbiamo delle novità che siamo certi vi entusiasmeranno. Avendo sempre condiviso con voi tutti gli aspetti principali della realizzazione del progetto Assetto Corsa, riconosciamo che il comparto audio è uno degli aspetti su cui c'è ancora un sensibile margine di miglioramento. Quando abbiamo concepito Assetto Corsa, abbiamo progettato la sua struttura con l'obiettivo di rendere il lavoro dei modders il più semplice possibile. Tuttavia, questo ha in parte influenzato le nostre scelte tecniche e il modo in cui l'engine audio gestisce gli effetti sonori.     Piste extra per Assetto Corsa

    La sezione del nostro forum dedicata alle piste aggiuntive per Assetto Corsa è ormai particolarmente ricca, non solo a livello quantitativo, ma anche qualitativo, come dimostrano ad esempio i circuiti del vecchio Hockenheim (v0.6) e del cittadino di Melbourne (v0.4), che si stanno sviluppando in modo assolutamente notevole.
  18. Fonte. We are converting, with the authorization of Kunos Simulazioni, our customized version netKar PRO track Crema. Back in 2010 our team modified the original track adding a new scratch made box. So here is the first preview. We are still working on it and we will take our time to do a good conversion. Thanks to Maurizio Gilles Jr for his commitment for the conversion, to his father Mario Gilles for his great work on the track back in 2010, and to Kunos Simulazioni for giving us the permission to convert this wonderful track. For our team, after 5-6 years with nKPRO, it's a real pleasure to see those tracks also in AC.

Decided to learn 3D modelling and thought I would start with a small track first, I did notice that this track was already in development by another forum user but I decided to carry on anyway mainly just for learning than anything else. So far after a few failed attempts at getting the layout right I think I have now got the layout correct. I imported the world into blender via Google Earth, created a curve and mapped this to the road surface. I then created the road plane mesh and added some modifiers to make it map to the curve. Next steps are to ensure the track edges meet up with the Google image, .e.g wider and thinner sections and ensure it is smooth. Quick image of the progress so far v0.5 2 Layouts now included Export now using AC editor - shaders still being tweaked and tested Recreated world nearest the track edges, run offs now a lot smoother Added Fast_Lane and Pit_Lane AI for both layouts - tracks can now be used quick race and race weekend modes Added more barriers / walls Added Marshall stands around the track Added more buildings Added collision mesh to pit lane garage Added flag pole at hairpin - no flag though Adjusted other buildings - scale/width Adjusted barriers to match up with world better Adjusted lakes New UI images, overview and information details Known Issues: Kerbs are currently still defined as Grass and as such do not have the correct surface Kerbs are a bit rough Some grass areas defined as Asphalt Edwina chicane bump on the exit Bus stop chicane bumpy on entrace and exit Charlies chicane bumpy - this chicane isnt used so not a high priority Pit Lane entrance is a tad bumpy but you shouldn't be speeding anyway Some barriers in certain areas do not match world Placeholder textures used across some meshes UV mapping incorrect on some meshes - especially grass AI not the smartest especially around the hairpin however you can have some decent races with them as they are quick everywhere else Pitlane Barrier mesh not rendering correctly - not sure why Inside world doesnt match pitlane edges Water defined as Grass DOWNLOAD

Fonte. v0.2.1 - first pass at shaders - latest texture work - separated pitlane from the track ( should help with AI lines - however there is some tool in SDK for AI, so maybe I will check it out there instead ) - it might need more separation PIT-IN part of pitlane is probably still part of main track - new sun orientation (hopefully matching real sun position) known issues so far I didn't figured out how to make the "helper objects" export properly, so the orientation of the car in Hotlap/Practice isn't correct, but this will be hopefully sorted out soon, there are some white edges here and there, will have to check it out and see what can be done about those this month I will be busy with other stuff, so the progress will be quite slow on this track, but hopefully I will pick it up after that and finally start adding some grass/sand/armco/kerbs to make it easier to test out the track DOWNLOAD
