Rilasciato ad inizio settimana come parte della release candidate di Ottobre, il nuovo store in-game è disponibile in maniera pubblica da oggi.
Nel corso degli anni parecchi sono stati gli utenti che si sono lamentati della scarsa chiarezza dell'item store di rF2, con tante difficoltà nell'individuare i contenuti già posseduti e nell'esplorazione delle varie offerte presenti all'interno dello stesso.
Con l'aggiornamento odierno il team ha rivisto completamente le funzionalità dello store, rendendolo graficamente più accattivante e soprattutto coerente con la UI utilizzata, più semplice da navigare con una schermata che mostra sin da subito quali contenuti e quali pacchetti si possiedono. Il nuovo store inoltre calcolerà in automatico le migliori offerte in base a ciò che possediamo già e ciò che abbiamo nel carrello, in modo da far spendere al giocatore il meno possibile. Inoltre una volta acquistate auto e piste queste verranno scaricate ed installate automaticamente, a patto di avere attiva l'impostazione di Steam "consenti i download mentre sei in gioco".
L'update è già stato rilasciato ed è pronto per il download, è consigliato un riavvio di Steam in caso di problemi con il download.

- Under each content heading, the store will dynamically present you with content you don’t own at the head of the page.
