VELOCIPEDE
after much consideration, I think that I should really try to finish some of the long on-going projects, so once the Primera is out of the way, it will free up time for this oneI usually work on 2 cars at the same time, so when I get bored of one, I switch to the other onecar is still pretty WIP for a proper render, so just a teaser @International Endurance Racing Modding group
VELOCIPEDE
We have a newly updated website and domain name! An updated logo is being designed at the moment to reflect the name change from "IER Modding Group" to "IER Simulations".The Corvette and Oreca will receive updates in short order and are currently being tested thoroughly by drivers in the Assetto Corsa Racing League.Things to expect from the upcoming update include:Corvette DP: Engine power and drag adjusted for newest AC version Anti-Roll bars redone Traction Control programming redone Tire grip, reaction, and temperature generation completely redone. - missing the effects of brake temperature on core heat because AC doesn't support it - will be added as soon as the option exists. Aero completely redone, LDF configuration now selectable via the aero page (visually and physically modeled) Dampers and bumpstop ranges changed Differential settings redone to match reality more closely Engine idle now being done correctly (it will be strange when in neutral/stationary - airflow isn't simulated in AC, so getting to and from the idle rpm will take a long time, but that's not important when in gear) Brake pressure option added Various bug-fixes PNG files changed to DDS Oreca FLM09: Engine updated to more or less match current specification Fuel consumption adjusted to match real life data Aero updated Anti roll bars redone (motion ratio was backwards) Differential settings redone to match reality more closely Engine idle similar to Corvette Brake pressure option added Traction control added to reflect changes to the real car - its programming will directly correspond to that of the teams we work with Tires updated (they're the same as the Corvette's as per the real life regulations) PNG files changed to DDS Various bug-fixes
VELOCIPEDE
The update for the car pack is now planned for a few days after the public release of Assetto Corsa version 1.7. The cars are essentially ready for release, but we've taken the decision to wait for brake temperature integration and centrifugal growth (which will both come with AC 1.7) to release the cars. VELOCIPEDE
DOWNLOAD v1.0 -> http://www.drivingitalia.net/forum/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=7700 IER Car Pack #1 Update Released! Featuring the Coyote and Dallara Corvette Daytona Prototypes along with the Oreca FLM09 LMPC car, the long awaited update to IER's first car pack is finally ready for public release. The update brings new features, bug fixes, and improvements to the cars.Further development of the tire model, aerodynamic properties, suspension geometry and kinematics, among a myriad of other adjustments bring both of the cars to new levels of accuracy. Utilizing more technical data and telemetry than ever before, the Oreca FLM09 race car is as accurate as it gets in public simulations. Telemetry between the sim and real life around Sebring International Raceway has been matched to the mph, while braking torque has been calculated to be as accurate as the simulator can handle, with the only limitation of accuracy being the user's pedal set.To move along with Assetto Corsa's progress, all cars now feature the V10 tire model, dynamic brake temperature, and in a first for AC, visual aerodynamic part adjustments. Users can now choose the Low-Downforce configuration of the Corvette DPs via the in-game aero setup menu.In-game performance has now been enhanced via texture and material optimizations of the two cars.In addition to the update, RaceDepartment forum user, NCIS, has graciously produced all of the liveries from the 2016 season for the Oreca FLM09. An update to the "Standard Definition" livery pack will be uploaded soon, along with the updated templates for the Corvettes. VELOCIPEDE
International Endurance Racing Simulations annuncia la nuova vettura prototipo IER P13C. Quote With the celebration of our fifth anniversary, we bring news of a project that has been in development in one form or another since the year of IER's founding. The IER P13C is slated to arrive as IER's official return to public projects.Though we may have seemed relatively inactive, there has been quite a lot going on behind the scenes. The skill sets of each of our members have improved with time and experience, and we aim to showcase this improvement with the P13C. It still requires some development to reach completion, but we can assure future customers that it will be worth the wait.
