Build 91 (11/11/11, Team Member+)

Paint UV mapping finished, LODX meshes finished, collision meshes added for GUMPERT apollo S

Temp. LODA/CPIT meshes added, lots of bug fixes for GUMPERT apollo S

GUMPERT apollo S (alpha 1) added to the game

New physics for the Ariel Atom

Ariel Atom LODA wip check in

Both Racer cars: CPIT suspension models added

Belgium Forest track added

California Raceway track added

First pass at a new UI checked in

Resolution increase to 1080p across UI, TILE interface on Login, MainMenu, QuickSolo, Loading screens

Known Issues:

* Brake lights have a rendering issue on the GUMPERT apollo S when racing with AI

* Both Belgium Forest and California Raceway have no AI support yet

* When changing tracks in Race mode, if you pass over either Belgium Forest or California Raceway, number of AI will disappear. You must exit out the race menu, and re-enter to change AI for other tracks afterwards

* The Race button on the new UI intermittently loses mouse button support, keyboard enter or using a pad will work though

Right in time for the weekend, Slightly Mad Studios have released the newest build of their WMD-powered Project CARS title for all members with Team Member status and above, adding a stunning German sports car and two all-new tracks to the developing title. Team Members can now test drive the mighty 750hp GUMPERT apollo sport, one of the many exciting features the newest development build has to offer, including:

The GUMPERT apollo sport will give sports car lovers the ride of their life.

Build by the Gumpert Sportwagen Manufaktur GmbH, the street-legal apollo sport is a racer at heart.

The car is powered by a 750hp Audi V8 twin-turbo engine, making it one of the most thrilling vehicles Project CARS has to offer.

The new build lets Team Members sample early versions of two brand new tracks:

- Belgian Forrest, a high-speed roller coaster ride featuring some of the most stunning corners in the world.

- California Raceway, a nine-turn road course with plenty of elevation changes located in Southern California

Aside from the new content, Team Members also get to enjoy plenty of other improvements that have been added since the last weekly build, including:

  • Updated physics for all Racer cars, Formula B, Asano LM11 TDX and Asano X4
  • A first version of the new user-interface
  • A new version of Bathurst
  • .. and much more

The new build is now available for download for all WMD members with Team Member status and above. For a one-time membership fee of 25€, Team Members get to follow the development of Project CARS up close and get to enjoy weekly development builds of the title.

Build degna di nota questa 91 cosi come la 78 passata.

Molte novità, e miglioramenti.

Sempre meglio il FFb delle auto in particolare quello del kart, davvero cambiato rispetto alle precededenti build, il Kart si sente.

Aumentato il realismo nella guida, dopo 5 giri si sente la fatica nel tenere le auto in pista. Appagante.

Davvero bella la Gumpert.

Per la fisica non posso dire più di tanto in quanto non ho mai provato auto di questo tipo, quindi mi rifaccio a cio che sentiamo su auto normali, che guidiamo tutti i giorni, magari auto un pochino spinte come Audi, che conosco bene, quindi accelerazione, frenata, curve,sottosterzo e sovrasterzo ed alte velocità. :cool:

Secondo me C.A.R.S. riproduce tutto questo molto bene.

Ottimo lavoro da parte degli SMS.

Assolutamente da provare. :smile:

Se non fosse che col mio sistema con iRacing ed ombre attivate gira fluido a 60 fps, con CARS tutto al minimo se faccio 28 fps è tanto... :-(

Abbassa la voce reflection e lascia tutto il resto su HIGH (filtri inclusi), vedrai che gli FPS aumenteranno e potrai goderti CARS a 60 fps senza problemi ;)

Ci sono impazzito pure io con questo problema, anche se la mia scheda video non è delle migliori [6850 da 1GB], adesso giro su tutti i circuiti con l'AI presente, sempre a 60 con vsync attivo.

Scusa, non avevo letto che avevi già tutto al minimo....posso sapere le specifiche del tuo sistema?

Hai ragione sul fatto che C.A.R.S., con i nostri pc, difficilmente arriverà a girare con alti FPS,

ma non si puo neanche paragonarlo a livello grafico con qualsiasi altro SIM attualmente in circolazione.

C.A.R.S. è su un altro pianeta.

Anche io vado benissimo con tutti gli altri Sim., ma con C.A.R.S. mi devo fermare:

Modalità finestra, 1280X768- 60Hz, DX9, tutto al minimo, in particolare il Bloom e il Motion blur, AA alto e Texture alte, ottengo 40/50 Fps,

devo dire che è gia più che buono e graficamente superiore a tutti gli altri Sim anche con questi settaggi grafici.

Poi è chiaro che se a te non piace proprio il fatto di simulare con C.A.R.S in questro modo, hai tutto il diritto di dirlo e criticarlo.

Però fossi in te proverei, almeno fino a quando potremo cambiare il nostro HW. :smile:

Ma hai attivato lo sli cambiando nome all'eseguibile?
