Amen

Physics update is just about ready. It is essentially the high speed grip due to aero DF that was the problem. I had the DF set by the numbers, but it seems to be over implemented for some reason. So the changes will be as follows: 1. Wing downforce reduced at the extreme. A 20 wing will be like a 10 wing, but with more drag than a 10 wing. A 1 wing will be like one step lower. 2. The engine curve has been reworked for more accuracy. There was a bit too much torque at and near the peak, so the acceleration will be slightly less. Very slightly, lol. The turbo effect however, is slightly more pronounced, (hopefully), although turbo effects on this car are just that the torque climbs quickly at a certain RPM, and the real car has a slight lag, which cannot be modelled with the current rFactor physics engine. 3. The fuel consumption has been adjusted. 4. The ride height issue has been fixed. The new rear height default setup is 1/4" lower also, as the rear mimimum is 1/4" lower. 1" mimimum in front, 1.5" mimimum in the back. 5. Low speed mechanical grip slightly (0.5%) improved. Just enough for the low speed behaviour to be 100% correct. (I had an issue with it before). These physics have been tested by a real life driver, BTW, familiar with the Champ Cars. Now I just have to co-ordinate this update with the graphics LODs and rFm fixes. I have fixed versions now myself, but I have to check on who is goijng to do the releasing.
