Nonostante Studio 397 sia al lavoro su Le Mans Ultimate (in arrivo a Dicembre) non si è sicuramente dimenticata di rFactor 2, e malgrado l'annuncio di nuovi DLC per il Q3 tardi ad arrivare lo studio olandese ha rilasciato un aggiornamento che in un certo senso segna un ritorno alle origini, ma andiamo con ordine.
Per quanto riguarda i contenuti a pagamento il nuovo update porta con sè le livree della stagione 2023 del Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain per la Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) e un BoP per le vetture GTE, GT3 e BTCC.
La vera sorpresa però è l'aggiornamento agli standard grafici odierni di vecchie vetture e vecchi tracciati: Toban Raceway Park, Mills Metro, Atlanta Motorsport Park e NOLA Motorsport Park hanno tutti ricevuto un aggiornamento alle tecnologie grafiche più recenti, oltre che una revisione dell'IA e dei track limits.
Per quanto riguarda le vetture ci sono stati degli aggiornamenti minori per gli shader di Brabham BT44, McLaren M23 e March 761, mentre la Formula ISI riceve per la prima volta il KERS
