E' stata rilasciata oggi la Patch v2.1 per Dakar Desert Rally. Dal Grand Canyon al deserto del Nevada e a Yellowstone, l'update vi permette di avventurarvi in una vasta mappa di 256 km2 ispirata ai famosi paesaggi del Nord America!

Il Tour degli Stati Uniti è disponibile da oggi e presenta:

• 20 nuove tappe in modalità Sport
• 12 nuove tappe in modalità Pro
• 140 nuovi tesori da trovare!

Hello, pilots! Today, we are delivering Patch 2.1, which brings the final installment for Dakar Desert Rally’s Season Pass DLC, the new USA Tour, along with fixes for the Roadbook Editor and the flickering image of the roadbook in the cockpit view that have been highly requested by the community.

Resolved Issues
Fixed an issue where the Roadbook image glitched and flashed on vehicles when using the cockpit camera.
Fixed an issue where the AI was unable to complete the track due to poor driving, especially in tight offroad curves.
Fixed the inability to validate very long roadbooks due to AI losing track of the path after a set distance.
Fixed an issue where the AI got lost during world shift while validating the path in Roadbook Editor.
Fixed an issue where the game did not support sending a game invitation via in-title functionality after joining a pre-game lobby hosted by another user.
Fixed crash issues between WP005 and WP006 at Red Sea Rally – Stage 03 (Sport).
Fixed a soft-lock on the loading screen into the race at some events.
Fixed a crash on some loading screens.

Buone notizie per gli appassionati di Dakar Desert Rally: è stata rilasciata il 12 una patch per la versione PC, definita come un "aggiornamento di stabilità". Secondo lo sviluppatore Saber Porto, l'aggiornamento si concentra sulla "riduzione dei problemi di crash nelle modalità single-player e multiplayer, nonché sulle schermate di caricamento dell'Editor Roadbook e della modalità Replay".

A gennaio, dopo il rilascio di una mappa DLC USA, era stato annunciato che non era previsto un ulteriore supporto per il gioco. Questa decisione è stata poi ribaltata poco più di una settimana dopo, con la pubblicazione di aggiornamenti che avrebbero dovuto migliorare i "problemi di stabilità".

Il gioco inoltre, che presenta una "modalità sportiva" open world in stile Forza Horizon e opzioni più "serie" che ricordano più da vicino l'evento reale, sarà presto gratuito. Tra il 15 e il 22 febbraio 2024, i giocatori di PC potranno scaricarlo gratuitamente attraverso l'Epic Games Store.
