adding new tracks

me being a nob ! when you say extract contents to current location would that be my desktop ?

i think if i do this winrar takes over and i have to use that to send it to the destination folder ?

when i get home from work i'll give that a try

if you have any more advice to guide me please let me know

here there is snetterton http://www.lastplace-racing.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=30&func=startdown&id=22

launch the exe, now you have a folder "netKar_PRO_Snetterton" , click click on it, now you see 2 folders "ase" and "tracks", put them in the main folder of nkp

if all this dosn't work would it be a good idea to uninstall and reinstall the sim ?

your folder structure should look like:

{{NK HOME}}\tracks\snetterton

underneath this you should see

-configurations

-server

-texture

-ui

-flags.ini

-snetterton.ini

-snetterton.nko

is it like that?

how can I have the track picture inside track/car start menu ?

for added tracks (unofficial) it isn't available

just to don't see any time the message "NO PICTURE" ...

It isn't really critical, just extract to the default location (which should be wherever your snetterton exe is located), as I've had a similar problem in the past when trying to extract Laguna Seca directly into the track folder.

As for winrar, it shouldn't take over, but as I use ExtractNow (it's free) I wouldn't know. Personally I don't like these self-extractors (although they're useful for people who don't have the aforementioned software or equivalent installed).

Re-installing would only help if you're missing something (like the ase folder as oppolo suggested), although unless you've been playing around with your installation this is unlikely.

it was simple in the end , c:\nkpro11beta3 and that was it

if i had \tracks or\tracks\snetterton it wouldn't work in game ?
