adding new tracks

hi all

this is my first post and i need some help to add some new tracks

i've downloaded the snetterton track but no matter what i do i cant see it in game ?

i can see the track in the netkar folder under tracks

on the winRAR self-extracting archive i have set the destination folder to this

c:\users\my name\documents\netkarpro

i'm doing something wrong but what ????

try to put the snetterton folder in x:\nkprofolder\tracks, and run the game!

just to update you , i've tried this c:\nkpro11beta\tracks and the snetterton track is now in the tracks folder with all the other tracks but it still wont show up in game ?

help please !!!

are you sure that the folder does'nt contain a subfolder 'snetterton' then nkpro not find the files?!

if it is his first addon track, is also there to put the folder "ase" in the nkp folder?

do you own a nK licensed version (very cheap, now at 19,90€ )?

if not probably you can't add tracks and use them just because demo version let you try it out but with many tracks locked ....

let us now beacause I have added tracks to my nK without issues

Isn't it already included with the nKPro installation?

The only other idea (apart from Gambero's most logical one), is that sometimes extracting to a root directory then copying the track fixes the problem, or at least it has when this problems occurred with other add-on tracks.

i still cant get the sim to see the snetterton track but it is in the tracks folder ?

if someone can guide me in a simple way to add the tracks from download stage onwards

Firstly welcome to netKar PRO Keith (bad BoNI for leaving out the pleasantries).

Ok, you've downloaded Snetterton, so extract the contents to your current location.

Open the folder created, then enter the tracks folder, and copy the snetterton folder to c:\nkpro11beta\tracks. That should avoid any problems you can have with self-extracting archives.
