VELOCIPEDE Posted June 24, 2010 Author Share Posted June 24, 2010 We are pleased to announce the next Need for Speed World beta will begin Monday, June 28 and run until Wednesday, June 30. This beta introduces our next client release which, along with a host of new tweaks and updates, will include some much-requested features such as performance customization packs for each car, Private Matches, 50 levels of progression, new vehicles, a Meeting Place for car shows and a whole new world region (Camden).The Need for Speed World client will also be available in German for the first time. So far this week, we've teased two cars that will be available in the next beta: the Audi R8 and Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06; however, there are many more, so here's the complete list of what will be available when the beta launches Monday. Like all previous betas, the cars are separated into different tiers according to their performance. elwood Posted July 8, 2010 Share Posted July 8, 2010 (edited) Allora, sono un po' sulla linea di Cosm1, la citta' me la ricordo bene da Most Wanted, cui oltre a completare la carriera, feci tutte le sfide piu' assurde, compreso un'inseguimento durato 42 minuti. Me lo ricordo xche praticamente avevo raggiunto il livello 'BIN LADEN' come delinquenza. , con SUV che arrivavano contromano, pula su Corvettes e sti maledetti elicotteri. Un delirio fare quella sfida, ci misi tipo 4-5 giorni a finirla, mi beccavano sempre. Sarebbe anche divertente, ma per me ci sono troppi powerup, campi gravitazionali che attraggono il traffico, rostri virtuali, gomme che si rigonfiano dopo aver preso una striscia chiodata o il 'cooler', per far calmare la polizia durante gli inseguimenti, il boost per recuperare se si e' in coda al gruppo e cosi' via, una sfilza che non finisce piu'. Varia rispetto a Most Wanted, ovviamente non possono inserire il Bullet Time essendo multi ci sarebbero ulteriori problemi di sincronia (si usava spesso quando trovavi un blocco stradale e prendere la 'mira', evitando le strisce chiodate e prendendo le auto sul posterione e sfondare) Mi vanno bene i Tier e far soldi con le gare quindi progredire, ma cosi' e' troppo povero alla lunga, povero come varianti di gioco, Pursuit, Race, Sprint e Free Roam. Ecco, io avrei puntato piu' sulla varieta' di gioco, non sui powerup. Le auto sembrano Trackmania, come guidabilita' non richiede nessuna destrezza quanto un po' di riflessi magari, imparare a menadito la citta' e sfuttare sti cacchio di powerup, ma io non ne ho manco per il piffero. Non si puo' configurare il volante. A me basterebbe il NOS al limite, e basta, non tutte quella monate alla supermario kart dai. Mi capita spesso di entrare in una sfida, faccio Join, Ready, parte il loading....... e li resta..... con lo schermo di caricamento, ma la macchina sotto in background va'. VELOCIPEDE Posted August 6, 2010 Author Share Posted August 6, 2010 patch v4.3 Release Notes (updated): - Multiplayer race rewards have been increased for races with fewer players - Fixed a crash that occurred when hitting large amounts of smackable objects in a short period - Progression Amplifiers now display the correct duration in their tooltips - Fixed an issue that prevented some players from receiving Private Match invitations - Players should no longer lose collision detection during poor network conditions - Traffic Magnet should now work correctly against players during poor network conditions - Fixed an issue causing players to become stuck in post-race screens when leveling up - Private Match invites should no longer cause controls to freeze - Fixed a crash when entering Paint Shop with Level of Detail set to Minimum - Reduced the minimum driving speed required for the busted meter to fill up during a pursuit - Fixed additional rarely-occurring crashes throughout the game - Made minor adjustments to the Single Player race rewards Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
