Guest Uff Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 You're welcome Wix, thanks for clarifying the actual state of the works.
Extreme77 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) but the buttons template can easy be reduced to 1024 . it would not change the look. It would be different instead. Great anyway but not the same HD quality as now. Anyway, Wix, you and your team are working greatly on this mod so far. A question, how many poly or Tris(2 x poly ) are a car ,with all parts(cockpit, chassis , wheels ecc)? Extreme Edited December 29, 2010 by Extreme77
albim75 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 not correct. first of all , it runs 35 cars full detail on a AMD quad core and a G-Force GTX285. that is hardly space material. The cockpits have two textures . at the moment 2048/2048, but the buttons template can easy be reduced to 1024 . it would not change the look. It is a fact that we dont keep low end cards in mind. that would be pointless. As far as the " will it run " ... you see the video with 35 cars while its captured by FRAPS. so i guess when we release this mod , it will be well within limits. Those with low end machines will sadly have to save up , or run another great mod. plenty of choice. PS: The mirrors are not off, but just not implemented yet. Thanks for the comments ha risposto WIX....quello che intendevo dire
Guest Arnold Carter Wong Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 (edited) Actually our design concept is that, we push the high-end hardwares to the limit and run the cars in full details, the hardwares(such as those cheap display cards) that cannot take that much of details should turn down the details in the game setting. Because it is quite meaningless to do something for the low-end hardwares to run full details in the game. And 60 FPS with 40+ cars is my aim:P, and in fact we can even do double details for the exteriors. Just like, you have a lot of money then you can buy a Ferrari, you don't have money then you can just buy a Honda Civic, but still you can enjoy driving a car. VELOCIPEDE Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Born out of Arnold school project the Audi RS5 is going to be the new WSGT2 Saftey Car. I admit we changed the idea a few times as far as the Pace Car is concerned, but it seems this will be our final choice. The BMW 120i will stay in the mod, and might get a friend. For now, the render is only dressed with basic testures . Expect to see a textured version soon. It might have some hazzard lights on its roof. ThinlaneT is still working on the sound pack while Klaas is doing the Audi R8C cockpit. As usual, all is well at RMT
VELOCIPEDE Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 WSGT2: Audi RS5 Body textures and template ready The templates and textures of the Audi RS5 are just about ready. Arnold is working on the internals. The Audi will receive its warning lights this week, so i will have some more work on the transformation to a Safety Car. Expect ingame model test screenshots soon. ThinlaneT will create a test soundset. As usual, all is well at RMT.
VELOCIPEDE Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Arnolds new concept study. Aston Martin One-77 GT500 Silhouette Concept. As we all know by now, Arnold does a Concept design ever so often. Because he is a hardcore GT fan, and needed something original to race in his home League, he started building a new competitor for the Honda HSV. The Aston Martin One-77 GT500 Silhouette Concept.Still without textures the car allready looks solid, and i have to say the design is stunning. I will start textures and templates as soon as the model is mapped. So expect the first textured previews somewhere next week. ThinlaneT is assembling a Sound update pack, and we will release a Sound video shortly after it is ready, so you can have a sample of the status. Further more we will continue work on the " Cirquit Zolder " track starting by the end of February. We are also talking about how to release the WSGT2 when the time comes. At this time we are thinking about releasing in packs rather then the whole batch at once. That would give us more control if a patch or recode should be the case. The rf1 release of the Megane Throphy is still being discussed. Klaas is still working on the Audi r8C cockpit, and has the IMSA Nissan ready for its first checkup. As Usual, all is well at RMT.
