Guest Uff
A new version of Bobs Track Builder Pro has just been released. http://www.bobstrackbuilder.net/news.aspx New features include : - Direct export to rFactor. See demo - Copy Track function (see Track window). - Multiple tracks shown onscreen together. - Added Track Visibility. - Optimised Wall calculations - calcs only occur when node or camber changes their position. - Added Node "snap" - hold M when moving a node to allow it to snap to another Node's position. - Number Pad can now control scrolling/zooming in the views. Can also left-right click in 3d view to translate the view. Helps people without a middle mouse button. - Added Project folder. - Texture Paths now saved relative to project folder (where possible) so sharing track with friends is now easier. Next on my list ... - A more open and organised approach to Materials, Textures and Cross-Sections. - Support for Richard Burns Rally. - More options for Walls. ... some of these I had intended to include in this release, however I decided to release the Native support for rFactor early rather than delay that for the next set of features. VELOCIPEDE
Bobs Track Builder 0.2.2.3 Bobs Track Builder is an easy-to-use track building tool that allows you to more easily create interesting tracks for rFactor. Still under development with new releases made every few weeks the number of features will grow over time. Here's a brief run-down of the more commonly used features. - Export directly to rFactor, no need for 3d Max. - Import GPS data. - Click and drag track creation uses splines to form all polygons. This allows you to design tracks in minutes rather than hours. - Support for Circuit and Point-to-Point tracks. - Use a background image to trace your track. - Predefined materials allow creation of different surfaces. - Advanced support for in-game Bump and Specular maps. - Modifiable cross sections allow great detail and easy change in surface shape. - Support for adding your own materials. - Add camber (tilt) to your whole track or to individual sections using a simple camber tool. - Change the width of tracks and have width changes smoothly interpolate using simple click and drag methods. - Add Walls and Fences to your track and if you decide to make height or position adjustments to your track, they will also automatically adjust saving hours of editing. Try the free demo which has almost all of the features available in the Professional version. http://www.bobstrackbuilder.net/
