Guest Uff Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Nuova versione disponibile. Sono proprio curioso di provarlo con le future Catheram! TechAde has made a proper announcement on RSC here, but as this is quite useful for carFactory users here is a more technical post for the modders: Changes in V0.6 released 1245GMT 04 June 2007 * SteeringDamper can now be overridden individually for each Mod * FFB Mixing for older Mods that don't respond to pure RealFeel FFB Here is the new .ini file that is automatically installed the first time you use the new plugin: [General] SteeringDamper=2500.000000 RealFeelIsOn=True [Caterbusa] MaxForceAtSteeringRack=1500.000000 SteeringDamper=2500.000000 FFBMixerRealFeelPercent=100.000000 [PowertecSVR] MaxForceAtSteeringRack=1500.000000 SteeringDamper=2500.000000 FFBMixerRealFeelPercent=100.000000 [Roadsport] MaxForceAtSteeringRack=-1500.000000 SteeringDamper=2500.000000 FFBMixerRealFeelPercent=5.000000 SteeringDamper settings were originally created globally to compensate for lower quality wheels. Testing and reports from users suggests that tweaking this setting can help feel for particular mods. See below for the original explanation of how it works, which is still valid. FFB Mixing, allows you to specify a % of RealFeel to mix in to the existing rFactor FFB. This seems to work quite well for mods that were previously awful with the plugin. At 100% you are getting pure RealFeel, at 0% you are getting pure rFactor, so this can also be used to turn RealFeel off for an individual mod. For mods that do not work with 100% RealFeel, adding a little into the mix adds some 'life' to the steering, particularly under braking or over bumps. For example, I like the Caterham Academy at about 20% and TechAde really likes the Caterham R500 at 80%. Latest Download here Chris
VELOCIPEDE Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Real Feel FFB Plugin 0.6 By: TechAde/Kangaloosh! Version 0.6.0 Released * SteeringDamper setting can now be overridden for each mod individually * FFB Mixing, 100% RealFeal, 100% rFactor FFB, or any mix of the two - adds 'life' to FFB for mods that previously just did not respond to the RealFeel Plugin To get the real feel for yourself simply drop the attached RealFeelPlugin.dll into your rFactor\Plugins folder. What Does It Do? It replaces the standard rFactor force feedback with a simple algorithm that sends the forces acting on the steering rack directly to the steering wheel. How Do I Use It? Drop the RealFeelPlugin.dll into your rFactor\Plugins folder. Go Race! What's the file RealFeelPlugin.ini that has appeared in my rFactor folder? That is the RealFeel configuration file, where you can specify different settings for each class of car, specify the overall damping level and disable the plugin.
