Rockstar ha diffuso sulla rete Xbox Live e su PlayStation Network un aggiornamento per Midnight Club: Los Angeles installabile in automatico caricando il gioco con la console già connessa a Internet. Le modifiche apportate da questo update interessano soprattutto il livello di difficoltà ritenuto "impossibile" da molti, insieme ad altre questioni tecniche per il lato Xbox 360, per il quale sono state inserite nuove classifiche per i tornei e una migliore ricerca delle partite online.
