With high quality titles such as Colin McRae Rally 3 and Colin McRae Rally 04, and with TOCA Race Driver 2 just around the corner, Codemasters appears to have established a recognizable reputation in the racing genre. If there are any tangible disadvantages in Colin McRae Rally 04, I have to say I may have missed them. Fair enough, the somewhat sharp learning curve could avert some players. Average gamers won't be immersed as quickly as those who are used to earlier editions of Colin McRae Rally. The authenticity of vehicle physics may be too much for some to bear.
