Anche iRacing abbraccia l'elettrico: da oggi sarà infatti disponibile la Porsche Mission R, la concept car di Porsche completamente elettrica. Questa vettura in stile GT della casa tedesca rappresenta il primo passo verso il futuro per Porsche stessa e anche per iRacing, visto che si tratta del primo veicolo completamente elettrico nel servizio.
Ideata per eguagliare le prestazioni di una Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, la Mission R è spinta da un doppio motore che genera oltre 800 kW di potenza (circa 1100 cavalli) ed è capace di un'accelerazione da 0 a 100 km/h in meno di 2.5s. La vettura dispone anche di un sistema di ricarica rapida che porta la batteria al 75% della sua capacità in circa 15 minuti tra una gara e l'altra.
