Kunos Simulazioni e 505 Games hanno appena rilasciato un nuovo trailer per Assetto Corsa Competizione, in uscita per PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X|S il 24 febbraio 2022, sia in formato digitale che fisico. Potete ammirare qui sotto il trailer dal titolo “Spinning in the Rain”, con allegati alcuni screens inediti.

Date un occhio all'impressionante tecnologia utilizzata per la fisica di Assetto Corsa. Ognuno dei tracciati ricreati in gioco con la tecnologia LaserScan è un mondo realistico a sé stante, definito da un orario della giornata, da condizioni meteorologiche e dal vento.
Il vento influisce sull'aerodinamicità dei veicoli, mentre le condizioni meteorologiche possono evolversi durante una gara e influenzare le performance di guida e il feedback del tracciato, rendendo ogni competizione imprevedibile. Sfrutta le tue conoscenze di gara: se vedi nuvoloni scuri in cielo passa dal pit stop per cambiare le gomme della tua auto.
La temperatura influisce sul grip della strada, performance del motore e pressione. Proprio per questo, guidare di giorno o di notte può cambiare completamente l'esperienza di guida. Impara ad adattarti e a reagire alle condizioni di pista variabili, proprio come i veri piloti professionisti GT3 e GT4.
Assetto Corsa Competizione è disponibile su PlayStation 4, Xbox One, e PC via Steam. Gli utenti che possiedono il gioco su console avranno modo di aggiornare il gioco gratuitamente alle versioni PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X|S al lancio, trasferendo tutti i dati di salvataggio e i DLC posseduti.
Proprio in queste ore invece, la versione PC Steam del gioco è stata aggiornata con la nuova patch v1.8.5, che apporta le seguenti migliorie:

- Fixed pre-weekend AI setting not taking an effect in Open Championship.
UI:
- Fixed keyboard/gamepad navigation in the car selection page.
- Name abbreviation (Lumirank ID) moved to Profile info page, obsolete Nickname item removed.
- Added leader track map indicator.
GRAPHICS:
- Adjusted windscreen wiper of the BMW M4 GT3 and raindrop effects.
- Fixed excessive loading times in Oculus VR mode.
- Slightly adjusted night brightness and standardized values accross tracks.
- DLSS setting now remains inactive with incompatible hardware.
- Fixed spray effects affecting windscreen while player car is behind pitwall.
PHYSICS:
- Fixed aero page slider display values not updating after using the fuel test function.
- Fixed BMW M4 GT4 wet preset's excessive brake bias setting for Imola.
- Adjusted aggressive preset for the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo at Mount Panorama.
- Adusted brake bias and brake power in all setup presets of the Maserati GT4.
- Adjusted steering ratio in the Ferrari 488 GT3 (both).
- Adjusted steering ratio in the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 (both).
- Re-enabled aero variation readout for the Lamborghini Huracan ST and Porsche 991II GT3 Cup.
- Removed BMW M4 and M6 GT3 extra ECU map.
CONTROLS:
- Fixed Thrustmaster SF1000 display not functioning correctly with other TM devices connected via USB.
- Fixed Thrustmaster SF1000 delta lap time sign error.
- Readjusted Steer Filter range for controllers.
Minor hotfixes earlier in the week included:

- Fixed the application hanging or freezing in certain situations in Multiplayer.
- Fixed a small error on the BMW M4 GT3 custom liveries.
