The iRacing 2024 Season 1 Release is here! This release includes both new content and upgrades for 2024 Season 1, which officially starts on December 12th at 0000 UTC! iRacing adds one new car, the Audi R8 LMS EVO II GT3, to our lineup of vehicle content. iRacing also adds one brand new Oval and Road track each to the service: Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello (Grand Prix, and Short) <PENDING FINAL PARTNER APPROVALS>, and Slinger Speedway (Oval, and Figure Eight). We also have a complete rebuild of Okayama International Circuit (Full Course, and Short), a fan favorite piece of free Rookie content, using 2023 data.

iRacing 2024 Season 1 includes Phase 1 of the Oval Refresh Project - you will find more realistic track grip levels as they relate to surface temperature throughout the course of a race. With this release, iRacing is pioneering new 3D curb technology at Mugello and Okayama, which should provide drivers with the most realistic track-edge experience to date - every curb bump of any type and size is now fully modeled for tire interaction. Mother Nature has sprouted with the 3D Foliage System at three additional beloved tracks and the system has been further optimized for look and feel.

The New Damage Model comes enabled on the new Audi R8 LMS EVO II GT3, and it has been added to a whopping SEVENTEEN more car models, including nearly every Asphalt Oval car we have! Our AI wranglers have approved both the Audi R8 LMS EVO II GT3 and HPD ARX-01c to report for competitive duty, and have unlocked eight new track configs for racing. Our vehicle dynamics team, per usual, have tested every single car, top-to-bottom, and have supplied you with hundreds of fully optimized new vehicle setups. Ring in the new year with iRacing 2024 Season 1!

The Superstar Racing Experience is arriving in this year's Season 2 release!

Legendary racers Tony Stewart and Ray Evernham turned the world on its head when they announced the creation of the Superstar Racing Experience in July 2020. The concept married elements of past all-star racing series with senior tour golf and weekly short track racing: six straight weeks of action in the summer on a mix of paved and dirt ovals, featuring an eclectic mix of racing champions, rising young stars, and even some local heroes who earned their way onto the grid for one shot at glory with the pros.

Designed from the ground up by Evernham and built by Fury Race Cars, the SRX car is a stock car unlike any other. Equipped with 700 horsepower Ilmor V8s and a high spoiler straight out of the 1970s, these cars were built for lots of power and low downforce, making them a challenge to drive. Like in the real world, iRacing's SRX car is equipped with both paved and dirt tires so you can race it on whichever ovals you'd like!
