VELOCIPEDE Posted April 4 Author Posted April 4 RallySimFans Update 1.58.0 – A Major Step Forward for RBR The RallySimFans Plugin continues to evolve with the release of version 1.58.0 (NGP7 0.60.5072), delivering one of its most comprehensive updates to date. This latest build not only expands content, but also introduces significant improvements in usability, realism and overall performance within Richard Burns Rally. At the forefront of this update is a complete redesign of key in-game menus. The online rally interface has been overhauled to provide clearer navigation between championships, open and private events, alongside improved sorting and usability. Stage and car selection menus have also been refreshed, while a new separation between RSF and RBR options makes the simulator far more accessible—especially for newcomers. From a technical standpoint, the update brings notable advancements. The integration of OpenRBRVR 2.2.3 enhances the virtual reality experience with better stability and new features, while RBRControls 5.3.3 introduces more advanced gearbox simulation options, including realistic distinctions between synchro and dogbox transmissions. Additionally, updated HUD elements and improved mud textures further refine immersion inside the cockpit. Content-wise, the update is massive. Multiple new stages have been added, alongside a wide range of updated maps featuring improved visuals, collisions and weather configurations. A key highlight is the ongoing transition of older BTB stages into the native RBR format, resulting in better performance, enhanced graphics and improved compatibility—particularly beneficial for VR and triple-screen users. This release also includes numerous fixes, optimizations and behind-the-scenes improvements, reinforcing RallySimFans as the leading platform for modern RBR experiences. Important: This update requires downloading both the latest torrent package and the updated installer to ensure proper installation. With continuous development and community-driven enhancements, RallySimFans once again sets the benchmark for rally simulation. www.rallysimfans.hu
