Yes, both the 2010 McLaren MP4-25 and 2010 Ferrari F10 are included in the Legends Edition. That’s not forgetting that in the Legends Edition you’ll get to drive as Ayrton Senna in his 1990 McLaren MP4/5B and Alain Prost in the Ferrari F1-90, face-off over eight race challenges, and receive exclusive Senna and Prost themed multiplayer car liveries! Yes! We showed off the final cars on our blog right here. Previously, some of the cars we’ve used in the trailers we’ve been showing off so far have been the 2019 regulation cars designed in collaboration with Ross Brawn and Pat Symonds – and you can find out more in our announcement blog about F1 2019 right here – the good news is that you we can tell you that you will be getting the full, final cars on release! Will we get both the Sprint and Feature race when playing F2?

Yes! The full F2 2018 season is playable in F1 2019, separate to career mode, and all F2 gameplay complies with the features and rules of F2. F2 cars are also available in Time Trial, Grand Prix mode (on all tracks, not just the official F2 tracks), as well as a variety of F2 championship modes. And that’s not to mention that you’ll experience F2 as a brand new introduction to F1 2019’s career mode, as well as getting to hear the commentary of Alex Jacques and Davide Valsecchi.

Yes, you can! You can customise your driver suit, gloves and multiplayer car – some customisation will cost you competition points, which we’ll talk about more below. Your driver suit and gloves will be used in your multiplayer games and will also be used when you’re driving the classic cars, whether in career mode, or in any other game mode.

With the Legends Edition, both Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost’s likenesses have also been added to the Career mode, and you’ll also receive exclusive Senna and Prost themed multiplayer car liveries.

You can check all of this out for yourself in our latest F1 2019 livestream right here:

The multiplayer car can be used across multiplayer, though you can also use the official team cars in unranked, leagues and LAN games too!

Could you tell us about competition points? What are they and how do they work?

Competition points can be earnt in many different ways. You can earn them by taking part in weekly events, completing weekly objectives in Ranked multiplayer and keeping a clean Safety rating. One of the ways you can use them is to customise your multiplayer car, suit, gloves etc. Competition points can’t be bought, but if you’d like, you can also purchase some of our premium liveries suits or gloves with currency, though all of these are for cosmetic purposes only, and don’t affect your performance in any way.

Could you tell us more about the automated race highlights system?

Yes, certainly – the replays will capture your best moments from your races and show them to you in the form of a highlights reel! You can save these and view them in ‘Theatre’ in the game menu, and if you’re playing on PC, you’ll be able to export your highlight reels as well.

Does F1 2019 have a customisable HUD?

If you’re playing on PC, yes, you’ll be able to customise the HUD. We’ll be revealing more about this soon!
