A new update for WRC 8 is available for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users. Among the fixes is included the long-awaited fix for the Career Mode which will allow you to freely enjoy the game without being stuck on the Extreme Conditions event. Please read the Patch Notes below to learn about its content.

Career Mode

• The Career Mode has been balanced including some fixes.
  • Perks are now used once (consumable).
  • Fixed the $ symbols position.
  • Fixed the issue with the 3rd event when tutorial was ON.

Improvements

• UI improvements.
• Some Stages have been balanced.
• Add Credits information.

Bug fixes

• Fixed the “Reset” function in devices binding.
• Fixed the “Delete Data” in option menu.
• Fixed the blackscreen on SSS.
• Fixed the Spectator Mode (special effects, cameras, user interface).
• Fixed steering wheels movement on Replays.
• Fixed the “out of track” in Freeroaming.

ciao a tutti ragazzi, leggo con molto interesse che quest anno questo wrc8 è seguito da piu persone,quindi forse riesco con voi a risolvere un mio problema. ho una base fanatec v2, con freno amano fanatec collegato direttamente alla pedaliera. il problema consiste in questo : quando provo ad attivare il freno a mano, nelle curve strette, sia che sia asfalto, terra o neve, tirando il freno a mano si scollega sia il volante che la pedaliera, in pratica sembra andare in clipping bloccando tutto, facendo un vuoto sia nel volante che sulla pedaliera, non so se riesco a spiegarmi spero di si, soprattutto spero possiate essermi d aiuto risolvendo questa cosa. un appunto, in DR 2 questo non succede, altra cosa ,questo " clipping" in precedenza non lo faceva , me ne sono accorto con le ultime due patch. spero vivamente che mi siate d aiuto. vi ringrazio in anticipo..a sentirci presto.

E' disponibile la nuova versione aggiornata 7.0.1 del WRC 8 Mods, un pacchetto completo che aggiorna e migliora ottimamente il WRC 8 originale targato BigBen, non solo sotto il profilo grafico, ma soprattutto per quanto riguarda la fisica e dinamica delle vetture. Per il download correte qui, mentre per commenti fate riferimento al forum dedicato.

Physics Mods:
Effect of gravity on the car.
Adjusts the cars angular momentum.
Adjusts the cars angular damping.
Adjusts the cars tire friction.
Lowers the cars centre of gravity.
Higher off throttle engine braking.
Adjust damage rates.

Changing the gravity affects many characteristics of how the car handles, grips the surface, brakes, jumps, handles bumps, slides in turns, slides on the hand brake, wheel spins, crashes, spin offs etc.
You should now find you can cut corners and clip bumps without instantly flipping up the car, throw the car into corners and perform power slides better, use the gears and hand brake much more effectively to brake intro corners and power through corners at speed sideways.
The idea behind the mods is that from watching WRC clips on YouTube and then watching the in game replays, In real life the cars have weight, suspension and tyres that keep the cars very much planted to the ground, something the game was not emulating very well. Just watch for example WRC 2019 Finland, Spain, Germany clips on YouTube.

Improvements

• Improvements of the Spectator Mode User Interface.
• Price balancing for the Car Repairs in the Career Mode.
• Removal of the Aero settings.

eSports WRC

• Addition of an eSports Calendar.
• Addition of an eSports Results tab.

Stages

• Raleigh stage (SSS - Rally Australia):
  • Removal of exploit trajectories on the Stage.
  • The Leaderboard of this stage has also been cleared of all entries.

Inizia oggi, 23 Gennaio, la stagione numero 5 del campionato ufficiale del eSports WRC, il torneo virtuale ufficiale legato al mondiale rally WRC, che si disputa naturalmente con il WRC 8 targato BigBen Interactive, recentemente aggiornato con una patch proprio per l'occasione.

ESPORTS WRC SEASON #5

eSports WRC is now in its fifth season and welcomes players from around the world to race for a chance to be in the eSports WRC Grand Final, which will take place in front of a live and audience and is broadcast around the world.

The eSports WRC 2020 season consists of 10 rounds, beginning with Rallye Monte-Carlo from 23-27 January and concluding with Rally Finland, from 6 to 10 August. In each of the 10 rounds, competitors have five chances to record their fastest time, with their best result counting towards their standings in the eSports WRC Championship standings.

At the conclusion of the championship, the eight highest ranked players will be invited to compete in the Grand Final.
