Il racing game sviluppato da Playground sulla base dell'engine di Turn 10 è ambientato questa volta in Australia, riproponendo la particolare struttura a mondo aperto con impianto pseudo-narrativo. Il gioco ha raccolto finora pareri entusiastici dalla stampa specializzata e vanta al momento un Metascore poco sopra il 90. Potete comprarlo su Xbox Store all'interno del programma Play Anywhere, quindi scaricabile sia sulla console che su PC con un singolo acquisto. Qui di seguito un estratto della recensione di Multiplayer.it:Dopo i passi falsi di Gears of War: Ultimate Edition e Quantum Break, con Forza Horizon 3 ci si aspettava un sensibile passo in avanti sotto il profilo dell'ottimizzazione, un evento che purtroppo, puntando ai 60 fotogrammi al secondo, non si è concretizzato. Con la nostra configurazione la fluidità si attesta infatti tra i 50 e i 60 fotogrammi al secondo nella maggior parte dei casi, sia in 2K che in 1080p, con cali evidenziabili principalmente nell'area di Surfers Paradise. Allo stato attuale non è dunque un titolo perfetto, inoltre richiede tantissima potenza, accorgimenti indesiderati e poggia su uno store problematico, ma è ben lungi dal poter essere considerato un porting ingiocabile o inaccettabile. Del resto, in attesa di un intervento da parte degli sviluppatori, sfruttandolo alla stessa fluidità disponibile su console si tratta del medesimo, magnifico racing game. Il DLC può essere acquistato in modo indipendente, oppure scaricato gratuitamente come parte delle edizioni Deluxe e Ultimate del gioco. Microsoft ha inoltre pubblicato un aggiornamento di Windows 10 dedicato proprio a Forza Horizon 3, per risolvere un problema che affliggeva la versione PC, evitando agli utenti di dover nuovamente scaricare tutto il gioco all'uscita della prossima patch. VELOCIPEDE Posted October 5, 2016 Author Share Posted October 5, 2016 Playground Games ha pubblicato una nuova patch di Forza Horizon 3 che risolve alcuni problemi riscontrati sulla versione Windows 10. Nello specifico sono stati eliminati i problemi di stuttering che si riscontravano con determinate configurazioni e frame rate elevato. Altre modifiche hanno apportato miglioramenti alla stabilità generale.Le opzioni video su Windows 10 non richiederanno più il salvataggio nel momento in cui vengono effettuati cambiamenti, mentre sono state aggiunte alcune opzioni al menù avanzato, tra cui l'impostazione per la sensibilità del volante e la voce Inverti Force Feedback. Infine è stato sistemato un problema che non consentiva su Windows 10 di visualizzare le auto contenute nel pacchetto prenotazione e il Warthog di Halo.
