Dear Community members,
As a development group in the industry it is important for us to not only protect our work from being stolen, but also to help protect other developers work from being stolen and used around the world wide web. Over the last couple months we have been investigating an artist who was looking to join MAK-Corp and have found that he has been using ripped models from other games as well as from Turbosquid and other model websites in order to gain money from unsuspecting community members and companies.

This community member goes by the name of Nunca15, real name, Harry Poore and Skype Name, HazzaP
It is important that if any of you have come in contact with this person, DO NOT PURCHASE any models from this person. He DOES NOT make scratch built models, he rips them and tries to sell them off. He's already been busted in the Assetto Corsa community where people even donated to his mods. It is unfortunate that the validation of his models came so late as we could have warned the community sooner.
Thankfully, due to our systems in place, we're able to catch such people who try to sell off ripped models. We encourage any person who desires to buy models to perform thorough investigating and checking of the person's models before committing to buying. Contact developers, groups that may have heard of the person and find out about their past. Do not hand your money away to just anyone offering high quality models done fast.
3D Vehicles for games take a long time to be developed, they are not done in a week or two. They are NEVER completely triangulated since all professional artists model in quads. Any vehicle you acquire that is completely triangulated has 99.9% of the time been ripped from something, be it a game or some software.
This person has not only scammed the Assetto Corsa community, but has tried to scam several people over Skype whom I've been speaking with over the last week advising them not to buy his models.
I hope all websites and communities will share this news to bring awareness to the entire community of what this person does and to not purchase from him at any cost.
As a community, we must ensure that we protect each other from such people, please help us spread the word!
