VELOCIPEDE Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 (edited) Virtua Simulazioni is proudly releasing the Formula Renault 3.5 2014 spec car. It includes three different specifications; high, medium and low downforce packages, which allows the driver to adapt the car to the nature of the circuit that they are racing on. With the LDF package, the car is able to reach speeds of around 310 km/h in fast circuits like Monza, whereas the HDF package is able to reach cornering speeds close to a Formula 1 car. The engine, developed by Zytek, has a peak power output of approximately 530hp. Despite the mentioned power figures, the car is still very drivable, thanks to the aforementioned aerodynamics and the immense grip produced by the slick Michelin tires. Furthermore the mod features fifteen liveries, suits, gloves and helmets from 2014 season. Including current F1 drivers like Carlos Sainz Jr, who took a record seven victories during the year to finally take the title over his closest rival for much of that season, Roberto Merhi, who’s the second Spaniard in the field that took three wins on his return to single seater racing, after two years in the DTM Series.
