This is the internal sound of Lotus 49 (1967) made by elMariachi90 made in cooperation with "Playerzone Online Racing Team":

http://www.playerzone.it/racing-sims/assetto-corsa-mods/engine-sounds/file/8-engine-sound-per-lotus-49-1967

The sound comes from a 3.0 liter Cosworth DFV engine, it is the same engine equipped by Lotus 49 from 1967.
This is a beta because in future there will be other improvements, at now the sound is at 80%.

You can make a comparison with the following video between real sound and Ingame sound:

Real

Ingame

INSTALLATION

Simply you have to replace "Steam" folder in your main "Steam" folder, then allow everithing to overwrite.

Also, if you want to restore the original sound you have to rename the following files in the following path and allow to replace:

Steam\SteamApps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars\lotus_49\sfx

engineINT_ORI --> engineINT

Finally delete "Cosworth_DFV" folder.
