Alessandro Pollini Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 File Name: F1 1982 LE Physics Update File Submitter: Alessandro Pollini File Submitted: 02 Oct 2012 File Category: Patch & Addon F1 1982 LE Physics Update V.0.93_x1 to be used with F1 1982 LE V.0.90 ************************************************************************************* V.0.90 - v.0.93 x1 Changes (in short): --------------------------------------------------- Added quite a lot of aero grip (Ground effect) combined with less tire grip. Suspension settings have been adjusted. The excessive tire bouncing is gone. ..... The cars are about 8 kph faster depending on which model you use. Drag has been adjusted on the Front/Rear wings and brake duct´s. More evident Slipstream effect. ..... Reduced tire pit stop time from ~16s to ~12s Reduced damage fix time. ..... Reduced Brake Pressures and adjusted BrakeResponseCurves to accomodate that. The Front brakes starts to fade* at 1101c / 2013.8 F The Rear brakes starts to fade* at 801c / 1473.8 F *Losing 50% of their braking power. ... The Default setup and the setup window have been adjusted. ---------- TIRES: All tires have an ideal temp of 80c. All tires wear has been set more equal then before. You´ll almost 100 % grip on the Qualy tires until you reach about 40 % wear, after that point the tires will go off fast. ... All tires will lose a lot of grip when they reach beyond 2 Red dots on the HUD but until then, you´re safe. --------------------- The Upgrades: The"Paddles, SemiAutomatic" Upgrade uses the same values as the previoes "Sequential No Blip" Upgrade, but with added blip. The "Paddles, Sequential" Upgrade has got "SemiAutomatic" removed and reduced Shift delay times too. ... I´ve also added a Left foot brake heating Option. (I need feedback on your brake temps.) ... The adjustable Fwing is removed from the Non Fwinged cars, so you need to choose a Fwing car to be able to adjust the Fwing henceforth. The ATS and the Tyrrell teams has gotten 1 car (for each driver) with an adjustable Fwing + Fwing collision detector added. These cars will ONLY feature in the LE version of the mod. ********************************************************************************************************************************* These cars feels and behaves a bit differently compared to the v.90 version, they´re a lot more aero dependent for instance which means that they´ve got less low speed grip but that they are pretty much planted at high speeds, so you´ll have to adjust your driving style accordingly and your setups too. You should however be doing about the same lap times as before, depending on the tracks layout. You will find that the car is pretty easy to drive below the limit but that it´s quite a handful on and above the limit, just as it should be. ---------------------- INSTALLATION: First of all, you HAVE to have the F1 1982_V.90 installed as this is just a physics Update for that version. .... Then remove your F1 1982_LE.cch file which is to be found in your rFactor\UserData\YourName Directory. **Attention!! You will NOT be able to neither buy the cars or their Upgrades othervise.** After that, unpack and drop the GameData and rFm folders into your regular rFactor directory and let overwrite and you´re done. Then buy the Car and the Upgrades that you wanna use and hit the tracks! Have Fun! -------------- Click here to download this file
