Valentino Balboni, a man who started his journey at Lamborghini as a mechanic apprentice, was personally asked by the founder of the Italian automaker to test drive new Lamborghini models. Balboni, who has reportedly driven 80 percent of all Lamborghinis ever built, now has his own model bearing his name – the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni.

Ditching the all-wheel-drive system, the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 sends 550-hp to the rear wheels. 0 to 62 mph comes in just 3.9 seconds with top speed limited at 199 mph.

To ensure exclusivity of the Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni model,Lamborghini will produce a limited 250 units with prices starting at $219,800 in the United States.
