Project CARS: video HD & progress report

WMD team member HDTanel has put together a stunning video trailer of Slighly Mad Studio’s Project CARS, showing off some of the epic racing action the title already provides.

All cars and tracks seen in the video trailer below are included in the current development builds that are instantly available to all our WMD team members.

The following months will have plenty of exciting progress in store as several key features are due to be added to Project CARS. Starting with build 129 that was released on Friday, the title is currently receiving a major overhaul to the Force Feedback & input system. Progress doesn’t stop there as plenty of other high-profile features are due to be added in the first months of 2012, including:

• Dynamic Time/Weather System
  
• Tire Deformations
  
• Racing School
  
• Multiplayer
  
• Pit-to-Car Radio
  
• and much more…
  

Aside from these exciting new features, our busy development team is of course working on plenty of new content as well. Next week’s build of Project CARS will give members the first chance to sample the Ariel Atom V8 as well as the Northampton circuit with much more content still in the pipeline!
