Guest Uff Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 E' direttamente Gjon Camaj a togliere ogni dubbio sulla possibilità di usare rF2 in LAN: lo si potrà fare, anche se sarà comunque necessario effettuare il login con il proprio account. Questa modalità era stata inizialmente scartata, salvo poi farla rientrare quando sono riusciti a gestire il tutto tramite matchmaking. Gjon è abbastanza chiaro sul perchè della scelta operata: Some people may not care about the mod mismatch issues, no easy way to get rid of wreckers, or the proliferation of cracked versions, but I do.The addition of online services helps us address some of these issues. This will develop over time, giving us the opportunity to do what makes the most sense for the longevity of rFactor. I know our decisions won’t be perfect for everyone in every situation, but we do try to consider the wide range of needs that the community has. On the other hand, maybe I’ll just do whatever I want for no apparent reason… it works for me. Come si legge in queste righe, dice chiaramente che a qualcuno potranno non interessare i mismatch online, una soluzione semplice per diminuire i wreckers o la proliferazione di versioni piratate, ma a lui di certo interessa. Le aggiunte future saranno fatte sicuramente pensando a garantire la maggiore longevità possibile a rF2, ma se qualcosa di imprevisto comparirà all'improvviso è probabile che la ragione sia "perchè funziona per Gjon".
