These files are in the characters/models folder and are found in pssg files for each driver. The game uses these higher quality images only during pre-and post race cutscenes. These are much better than the race textures and while many modders are releasing HD helmets, they are still getting to grips with the texture mapping, so some can be misaligned at the sides and back. With these codemasters textures that is not a problem, all helmets are perfect and use the same model in race and cutscenes so there is no conflict. I have just extracted them and imported them to the car/livery files so they are now used in the race. Click here to download this file
