Alessandro Pollini Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 File Name: Logitech MOMO Custom Profile Mod File Submitter: Alessandro Pollini File Submitted: 23 Sep 2011 File Category: Patch & addons Author : GODzilla This mods introduces a custom mapping for the Logitech MOMO Racing USB profile of the game. Buttons are mapped for easy control of the important functions in the race, the replay (instant replay) and the menu. No need to use keyboard buttons as everything can be controlled with your wheel! The new standards for deadzone and saturation means you can simply install this mod and drive right away, since I find that these settings provide a good balance between quick reactions and steady driving on the straights. Of course you can still tweak the advanced wheel settings ingame without loosing the button configuration. The standard version of this mod is made for those players who use an automatic gearbox (like me *the shame* ). But there's a folder with optional files for all you manual shifting lovers! See the included picture for button mapping. :::::::::::::::::::::::::Features::::::::::::::::: :::::::: v1 - custom profile for Logitech MOMO Racing wheel - optional version for players using manual gearbox - set new standards for dead zone (1%) and saturation (20%) - original file included for backup reasons :::::::::::::::::::::::Installation::::::::::::::: :::::::: - copy the folders "actionmap" into your ...\F1 2011\ folder - overwrite files if asked IF you want to use the optional version for using a manual gearbox then... - go into the folder "OPTIONAL (manual gearbox)" - copy the folders "actionmap" into your ...\F1 2011\ folder - overwrite files if asked :::::::::::::::::::::::::Uninstall:::::::::::::::: :::::::: - erase the file "Logitech MOMO Racing USB NEW.xml" - rename the file "#original#Logitech MOMO Racing USB NEW" to "Logitech MOMO Racing USB NEW.xml" :::::::::::::::::::::::::Known Bugs:::::::::::::::::::::::: BUG: When you enter the button configuration and exist it the game will (even if you haven't changed anything) report that it wont accept the settings. --> This is because the game wont accept any configuration where important functions, for instance "gear up" and "gear down", are unmapped. Even if you're playing with an automatic gearbox setting. SOLUTION: Simply ignore the message and choose "reset to original configuration". Click here to download this file
