-Introduction:

This is an alternate to V1,0 allowing for up to ten (10) distinct values of the "FuelConsumption=" variable to be entered, and saved, as "Constants" representing ten (10) unique vehicles. Thereafter, anytime MoTeC i2 reads a log file for one of those vehicles, the calculations will automatically use the correct value.

Otherwise, all calculations are identical to V1.0.

V1.0 will also remain available.

The tools provide the following information:

· Instantaneous fuel flow rate (liters per hour) & (gallons per hour)

· Fuel Used per lap (liters per lap) & (gallons per lap)

· Laps per Full Tank (laps)

· Fuel Amount Used (liters) & (gallons)….accumulating

· Mass of fuel remaining (kg) & (pounds)

· Fuel Economy (Kilometers per liter) & (Miles per gallon)

· Lap length (kms) & (miles)

· FuelEstimate= Variable (calculated estimate)

These quantities can be presented for individual laps, combinations of laps, and complete outings

Expressions for both Metric and Imperial based results are included.

-Scope:

This utility provides quick and easy access to important fuel data, as gathered during a minimal number of practice and/or qualifying laps.

It's usefulness stems from three considerations:

· You no longer need to perform special fuel tests to get this information

· The fuel-use data will be generated by MoTeC while you are running practice and/or qualifying laps at an event without interrupting the normal flow of events.

· The data will be accurate and current to the set-ups your running while at the event.
