I know that if you set a race session to be 20 mins, even though the race might be a 5 lapper and be over in 10 mins, then you still sit in the race session until the 20 mins is up before you go to the next session. You would need to test it, but maybe the "Race Over" screen only comes up before the race is finished because the session time is set to less time than the race actually takes. I have a server running 24/7 www.xgn.com.au on a prac/qual/race rotation, and it will stay in the race session for as many minutes as you have in the config before it goes back to prac, even after the race is over.
