* This is a simple Mod to replace "Helmet Cam" into "Default Cockpit Cam + Visor (no Look to Apex)".

Look to Apex function of "Helmet Cam" sometimes makes me get carsick, so I always use "Cockpit Cam".

I have no problem with "Cockpit Cam" and like its settings.

But for some cars, I want to use "Visor" view to enjoy its atmosphere.

So I've edited "Default Cockpit Cam + Visor" files.

* Added new seat position for Cockpit Cam (No Visor view).

Seat Position Fore - The same seat position and FOV (0.98) as the default Cockpit Cam.

Seat Position Backward - The same seat position and FOV (1.00) as the default Helmet Cam.

* You can change the following views in-game.

Bumper Cam (default)

Bonnet Cam (default)

Cockpit Cam (default : Seat Position Fore, No Visor)

Cockpit Cam (Seat Position Backward, No Visor)

Cockpit Cam + Visor (Seat Position Backward with Visor)

Chase Cam (default)

And you can select the following "Speed DOF" settings

Speed DOF - Seat Fore OFF + Seat Backward OFF + Visor OFF

Speed DOF - Seat Fore OFF + Seat Backward OFF + Visor ON

Speed DOF - Seat Fore OFF + Seat Backward ON + Visor OFF

Speed DOF - Seat Fore ON + Seat Backward OFF + Visor OFF

I edited the following files.

< BOOTFLOW.bff >

cameras/cameraconfig.xml

< IGPHASEACTIVATE.bff >

cameras/cameraconfig.xml

cameras/speeddepthoffield.xml (to enable/disable Speed DOF effect)

* The basic process of editing is as follows.

1. Open "cameraconfig.xml" files in "BOOTFLOW.bff" and "IGPHASEACTIVATE.bff".

2. Copy and paste all "CockpitCam" section data, then replace "HelmetCam" section data to it.

And rename the following line

<prop name="Name" data="CockpitCam" />

into

<prop name="Name" data="CockpitCam2" />

3. To enable/disable the "Visor" view, change the following line

<prop name="RenderHelmet" data="true" />

or

<prop name="RenderHelmet" data="false" />

4. To adjust the Seat Position, change the following line.

<prop name="PosOffset" data="*;*;*" />

5. You can adjust "Speed DOF" settings by editing "speeddepthoffield.xml" in "IGPHASEACTIVATE.bff".

* Installation *

( 1 ) Please do not forget to backup your original files ("BOOTFLOW.bff" and "IGPHASEACTIVATE.bff").

( 2 ) Next select the folder which you want to install.

( 3 ) Then extract "Pakfiles" folder into your "SHIFT 2 Unleashed" installation directory.
