Differences to original Austin Mini Cooper S:

- Complete Standalone TC-65 class with wide arches bodystyle.

- Complete new, Authentic physics, based on Group 5, 1968 ETCC British Vita Racing Mini Cooper 970 S race cars.

- Engine is 999cc 8-port with mechanical fuel injection. revs until 9300 rpm, but is almost dead below 5000 rpm.

- Authentic 4-speed short ratio racing gearbox with real world selection of final gears. (lot's of them)

- new real world based Dunlop Vintage G5 tyres.

- lot's of other small corrections and mods.

- two authentic British Vita skins from 1968 ETCC season, #20, driven by Alec Poole and 1968 ETCC Champion, #30 John Handley

In 1968, ETCC followed BSCC by moving to use Group 5 classification, which allowed the teams much more radical modifications to car than previously used Group 2 cars. The Championship was divided to

different divisions by engine displacement. Division 1 was for cars from 0-1000 cc, division 2 1001-1600 cc, and division 3 for over 1600 cc. BMC decided to give factory support to two teams and

while Cooper Car Company ran two 1275cc Cooper S'es in Division 2, British Vita Racing was given full factory support to build cars for Division 1. As the result, while BMC rally team started to really struggle against newer cars like Alpine A110 and Ford Escort, in ETCC BMC took 2 out 3 possible Championships. John Handley winning Division 1 and John Rhodes winning Division 2 after very close battle.

This add on features both British Vita cars as they were most of the season. In late season they did use 5-speed gearbox by Hewland / Colotti, but as I was able to come across just single gear set for that, which had obiously wayy too long 4th and 5th gears, I decided to leave that later on, when I have more information.

While this car has under 1 liter displacement, don't let that fool you, as it is truly competitive car in right hands.

Conversion to other games:

- Permission needed and when granted, original authors must be

mentioned.

Possible further enchancements:

- 5-speed gearbox used in late 1968 season.

Version History:

- 1.0: 10. Feb, 2011: First release version.

11th of February, 2011
