In occasione degli X-Games 17, Codemasters annuncia un nuovo DLC per DiRT 3 dedicato alla stessa competizione.

Attraverso l'X-Games Asia Track Pack potremo competere su due tracciati (per quattro piste in totale) di tipo Rallycross ambientati a Tokyo. Il pacchetto si può già acquistare su Xbox Live e Games for Windows per 400 Punti e uscirà domani su PlayStation Store a 3,99 Euro. La casa britannica terrà anche una promozione "double XP" dalla mezzanotte del 27 luglio fino al 31 luglio per chiunque giochi online. Inoltre, ci saranno alcune revisioni alle playlist delle partite multiplayer, con diverse serie di eventi, sfide e così via. Le novità verranno annunciate sui canali "social" di Codemasters, a partire da Facebook.

-Various game hangs and soft-locks have now been resolved.

-Prevented engine audio incorrectly continuing to play in multiplayer events

-Steering wheel no longer jolts to the left in the race reward screen

-Fixed a multiplayer spectator issue which would prevent camera rotation around a watched vehicle in chase cam

Salve a tutti,

da qualche giorno cerco di cimentarmi con i file della visuale in dirt3 pc, ma non riesco a modificare i file!

tutte le mod per visuale secondo me sono sbagliate come concetto, anche se magari belle da giocare, ma si discotano dalla realtà, la cam di guida all'interno dell' abitacolo dovrebbe essere come quella originale ma più ravvicinata e senza volante, che la maggior parte delle volte copre i led delle strumentazzioni!

Qualcuno riesce a far delle modifiche del genere o almeno riesce a spiegarmi come fare a modificarle?

Hackers have stolen access to three million digital copies of Dirt 3. The huge list of Steam download codes was found lying on Codemasters server virtually unprotected.

Codemasters had stockpiled the keys for use in a promotion with AMD graphics cards, reports Kotaku. According to posts on Steam's forums, the codes were discovered in a .sql database and accessed with a simple .htaccess exploit. Steam codes can be traced by developers, meaning Steam is able to block hacker's access to the game. Codemasters told Eurogamer it hopes Steam will deactivate the codes.

In June Codemasters admitted its website had been violated by hackers, with encrypted passwords, email addresses and user names stolen.

“You may have heard this weekend, activation keys for free Dirt 3 game vouchers shipping with a few AMD products were compromised. The keys were hosted on a third-party fulfillment agency website, AMD4u.com, and were not on AMD’s website. Neither AMD nor Codemasters servers were involved.

“We’re working closely with everyone to address the situation. AMD will honor all valid game vouchers, but just a heads up, the current situation may result in a short delay before the vouchers can be redeemed.”
