VELOCIPEDE Posted July 5, 2010 Posted July 5, 2010 dall'autore del Fanatec THUD: il movimento dell'abitacolo è ora "collegato" alle asperità della pista; video di anteprima iRacing is the most advanced car simulation, thanks to the laser scanning and amazing physics engine But from my point of view, graphics engine is not rendering perfectly the track (for example, little bumps present in physics engine are not displayed), so we can use only FFB to feel them… With a little help, I make a demo video on what happens if the cockpit move according to track profile… The result is interesting because with this motion cockpit view, you see instantly banked curves and bump, I also discover that the default view is attached to the car (like TV camera), so horizon and vertical are "deformed" (check when the car go below a bridge and Brands Hatch pits wall in the video) What do you thinks about this motion cockpit view ?
MikeHaz Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 A me non convince molto... Sembra che la macchina vada per le sue... Cio
