How is 'ff gain' difference from 'ff damping' and 'ff friction'?

And usually how to set 'ff damping' and 'ff friction' value?

I usually use 0.9, 0, 0.

for the 'ff damping' and 'ff friction' it's just a matter of taste.

for the ff gain use the F8 graph. Tweak your ff gain in a way that the red bar is not arriving at it's limit while cornering.
