Guest Tee Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 (edited) Hello. Prato is really fun, but It's hard from fantasy. I have nothing more idea to reduce time in prato, besides I've never see other's fast driving beacuse online connection is bad, I lives far away(south korea). But many people more fast than me at nK pro rank etc. My best time in prato, F1800 : 1:34.971 (replay : http://www.box.net/shared/vg9lsbk8ap ) beta 2 F2000 : 1:23.916 (replay : http://www.box.net/shared/bye4jb7bv2 ) beta 2 F3 : 1:22.068 (replay : http://www.box.net/shared/s506z0qxy4 ) beta 3 Would anyone advise me? help. Thanks. Edited February 27, 2010 by Tee

Did you try the base setups created by Jaap (and included with v1.03)? They should help get your lap times down. Also there's no real secret, but if you're spinning a lot, try blipping the throttle on down shifts as this helps with stability. You will find more time, depending on where you started out, you could well end up finding 10 seconds or more. Forgot to include this link last night (so you don’t have to install v1.03 just to get the sets). Edited March 8, 2010 by CAR
Guest PYNEY Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 (edited) CAR thanks for the tips ! never thought of blipping the throttle and im going to download the base setups cheers for that with these setups do you try them as is ! and is there anything i should be looking to change ? are the base setups just for prato or all tracks ? im lucky to have a G 25 wheel , i use the paddle shift for gear change "auto clutch" would i gain better times if i use the manual clutch and gear stick ? thankyou keith Edited March 8, 2010 by PYNEY
Guest CAR Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 (edited) with these setups do you try them as is ! and is there anything i should be looking to change ? It depends on the circuit, some may need wing adjustments, or suspension tweaks but they're a good starting point. are the base setups just for prato or all tracks ? im lucky to have a G 25 wheel , i use the paddle shift for gear change "auto clutch" would i gain better times if i use the manual clutch and gear stick ? Again it depends, as for example the F2000 base setup works quite well around Donington Park, but at Adelaide it needs a few changes although as for Prato you'd have to ask someone that runs more laps on the fantasy circuits. Regarding your G25, personally it's hard to tell if there's any difference between sequential shifting (assuming that's what you meant by gear stick), and the paddles but you'll probably find the manual clutch gives you better race starts.
