Guest CronoTR Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Give us the abillity to save replays as .mpg; .avi; (or any movie format you can upload on YouTube etc.). That would be very nice!
Guest Nick Garnett Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Here are a few things that I would like in the future : 1. As far as I can remember up to Netkar Version 1.0.3 it was possible to have either 'road' or 'slick' tyres on the FF1600 and FF1800. This option now seems to have been removed and I would like to have this option back again. 2. More top quality cars. I reckon that the Ariel Atom would be a great 'open-wheel' addition. I also think that a faster tin-top like the Ferrari 360 without 'wings' and on 'road' tyres would be good. The Abarth would appear to be extremely well modelled and really popular but it just seems a bit slow - especially on acceleration. Open-Wheel cars also provide a greater sensation of speed which again the Abarth has against it. 3. More street style circuits like Macau and Pau. Singapore may not be that great graphically but the last two corners in the FF1800 with 'road' tyres (see 1. above) was just insane fun. To have lost the option of FF1800 with 'road' tyres and the 'Aosta'/'Black Grass' issue are the only two major negative things that I would say about the latest version of Netkar. The rest seems really positive. 4. When the Hill climb is released I hope that it will be possible to drive any car on it and not just the Osella. Also that it will be possible to drive the Osella at any track and not just on the Hill-Climb. 5. This one might be a bit controversial. I don't want any 'AI' in Netkar but would like to have a 'Ghost' mode like 'GTR2'. It would also be good if this could be extended to include a database of 'ghost laps' that could then be downloaded from the Netkar website for various Car/Track combinations that could in effect be used as some kind of off-line training mode. It might then be possible to follow the 'ghost car' round the circuit to learn the best line around the corners etc. Oh yes - and finally. 6) No compromises on Car Physics !!
Guest CAR Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 (edited) Despite what Kunos said (unless something was lost in translation) about asking any driver whether they wanted to race in the wet, it's a great leveller, and would make rivals look somewhat silly if it was implemented properly.Additionally it would be nice to get our hands on all the content we know exists, and have it working in one simulator (rather than having to have multiple installations of nKPro), although if this is technically possible it probably wouldn’t happen due to licensing reasons. JoKeR68 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 (edited) Ok, let's go. Things I can think of that anybody has pointed yet: 1) Simulating the shaking that occurs when you "fry" your tires due to heavy braking... some pilots say that when this happens, they can barely see the track due to the heavy shaking impairing their vision... it could be implemented *at least* at the mirrors. They are really "steady" even when the car is/should be shaking. 2) To be able to map some wheel button to change the dash function inside the car (instead of using the mouse). If there is a way, I haven't discovered it yet. 3) Oh, and by the way - make sure that you *can* break the gearbox if you don't use the clutch when choosing "autoclutch off"! Guest NightShift Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 1) Simulating the shaking that occurs when you "fry" your tires due to heavy braking... Flatspotting was in some older relase IIRC, think it was removed - I remember reading something by Tristan Cliffe about this. 3) Oh, and by the way - make sure that you *can* break the gearbox if you don't use the clutch when choosing "autoclutch off"!
