The Experience Continues

This weekend on Saturday the 14th of November 2009 the Circuit of Zolder is the venue of the first iOpener Enabled Endurance Race as we join the "10 Hours of Zolder" live.

The Event

We stream the race for 10 hours long directly to the homes of our testers where they can sit behind their own pc and join the real drivers on the real track in real time!

It will be a true survival of the fittest! It's not only beating the real drivers but also the elements are playing a signifant role. On the Circuit of Zolder there is always a slight possibility of rain. Besides the on going threat of rain the drivers can expect low ambient and track temperatures as this is one of the final events of the year at Zolder because the winter is near. To make it extra difficult the race will finish in the dark!

The race will start at 10:40 GMT and the checkered flag is out at 20:40 GMT!

The Cars

During this event two new cars will make their appereance in the Real-Time Racing Game.

First we like to introduce to you the Mini Cooper S (John Cooper Works edition). This small bomb on wheels is equipped with a 1600cc 4 cylinder engine that delivers 210 bhp directly to the frontwheels.

The Mini Cooper S is an excellent car for the beginning and experienced (sim)racer as it will allow you to correct small driving errors and still gives you a true race feeling!

Secondly our testers can select the BMW Z4 M. This 385 bhp strong real wheel drive sportscar car will be hard to master as it will literally launch you from 0-100 km/h in a blink of an eye!

We are proud to announce the arrival of our newest car: The beautiful MINI Cooper S (John Cooper Works edition)

This special edition Mini is purpose built for racing by BMW Motorsport and will be our little star during the upcoming 10 Hour of Zolder event this Saturday the 14th of November 2009!

What makes this MINI special compared to normal street version MINI's are the slick racing tyres, special Aerokits as the diffuser splitter and rear wing for extra downforce. Also special ABS, a racing seat, adjustable suspensions and a roll cage makes this little car to a big racer!

Yesterday we showed you the first car out of two from the BMW Motorsport line: the MINI Cooper S. Today it is time to show you the BMW Z4 M

This rear wheel driven coupe with the mighty 6 cylinder engine and the characteristic BMW sound is purpose and exclusively build for racing by the G&A Racing team from Belgium. The car is known from the various GT4 championships it participates in.

If you like to powerslide and have the driving skills to master this vehicle you can prepare yourself for the upcoming 10 Hours of Zolder as the BMW Z4 M will be made available to all testers this week.
