Pitstopboss News Update - 19th October 2009

Another update, another Formula One World Champion!

After an eventful F1 weekend, it's time to look ahead to the new track at Abu Dhabi and also the next season with new updates.

Talking of updates and looking ahead... here are the new updates!

* Fixed a bug in the display of tyre compound used by competitors.

* Fixed a bug in the display of days of supporter mode left (in menu).

* Fixed a bug that allowed Inters to perform much better than Full wet tyres in heavy rain, consistently.

* Added a text indicator of wether your run is an Instant Run or not.

* Adjusted abbreviation system for driver names. (this is needed for the display systems that will be used in races etc)

* Added a mechanic option, where an extra mechanic can be hired to help develop or repair the car. (so for those who are running many upgrades may prefer to use him for repairs, whereas those looking to get the maximum out of their package, will opt for more development - the choice is down to you).

* Adjusted slightly some CTO's so that their development times are raised to give a slightly better balance.

* Added an 'Expert Opinion' option in the Analysis section. You can now get some more insight into what you have been doing right and wrong and where you compare against your rivals in your races.

* Added a beta for the new League system. You can sign up to a limited test spot in the test of the new league that features relegation and promotion. Be aware that this is a test and will require you to keep the driver involved for several weeks and will involve many resets.

The season may be just about over and still we haven't had a race yet in PSB. However, getting the gameplay right has been one of the top objectives from the start of this project.

The league system with promotion and relegation will go a long way into sorting out the the better players and will also give people more goals to aim for once it is ready. The end product should mean more balanced competition and more excitement for all concerned.

I'm hoping that after I add this to the game, I can fully concentrate on getting the race added into the mix.
