Pitstopboss News Update - 15th September 2009

I have been mainly adjusting a few stats from engines and tyres in order to fix the imbalances noted over the past few months of play. It may annoy and frustrate some managers that I have done this, but it is for the good of the game that things are balanced so that you can fare well with many different combinations of equipment.

Most tyres have been adjusted slightly to make them either a bit more competitive or a bit less in certain areas.

Bridgestone medium compounds get the most notable change, as they were too powerful and could overcome working in conditions that they should have worked poorly in.

Engines also have had a couple of minor balances mainly with the top-end brands so that there isn't just one outstanding one like Star Performance, which was allowing some people to gain the odd tenth or two, over all other engines.

The process of organizing competitions into groups based on skill level of the entrants is ongoing and should be completed this week.

It won't affect the competitions you are currently in, but the amount of competitions you can enter may be reduced slightly during the changeover.
