Guest sirnoname Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Ciao, I am a C++ developer for motion simulators. The NKPro software offers a software plugin interface and the homepage tells me: > Full support for alternative game controller (joypad, mouse, keyboard) and some support for realtime telemetry analysing. Where we can get a description how to get the telemetry for motion simulators and/or who hast to be contacted? I have read the developers blog: http://kunosayu.blogspot.com/2008/08/designing-netkar-pro-20-part-1.html but there is no mail to contct with. Our project is placed here: www.x-simulator.de/forum Best regards SirNoName

Specifically, motion simulator integration is an exclusive of Ball Racing Development.

Guest sirnoname Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 (edited) Sorry if I ask patient. Is there a reason for that decision? Are you in contract with AIM only? Is this a problem of missing funds? Are you afraid of cheaters? X-Sim is to 50% a simulator control and to 50% a HW/SW gauge/dashboard (3rd party) control and telemetry analysing logger software. In another thread it seems you welcomed additionally work on the GUI and here you do not support development Near every simracing game offers a open software interface but not yours. Perhaps you can give us a short statement ... Edited August 31, 2009 by sirnoname
kunos Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 it is very simple. Ball Racing Developments (developer of motion simulators) owns exclusive rights for the use of netKar PRO software on a motion platform.
Guest sirnoname Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Understood! You do support ForceFeedback game devices (motion sims are big FF devices). As known force feedback is a combination of many different sine/sawtooth... and the constant forces. Can you confirm (out of the code), that the used constant force is derived out of the car accelerations?
